I absolutely love this venue! The modern yet chic style of the venue immediately drew me in from the first time I visited. I have been to many venues in our area and this one is definitely completely original! ...and then to be just steps away from the beach?! Perfection. The owners are kind, caring, wonderful individuals who I have had the pleasure of working with on several occasions . They truly pour themselves into each and every event. It's always a great experience and I cannot recommend this venue enough!

I really can't say enough amazing things about Regan. My fiance and I didn't have a strong vision for our decor and had budgeted a fairly small amount for florals as we didn't want anything too flashy or grand. When I hopped on the first call with Regan, I didn't have a cohesive plan to share, only a color scheme and a request for a focus on more sustainable decor like potted plants and native flowers. Regan did an absolutely incredible job - with very little direction she knew better than we even did ourselves what we wanted for the florals, and she worked with our budget to create a very full and incredibly beautiful arrangement for our entire wedding. We got sooo many compliments on our florals, and I admit I totally underestimated the impact they could make! Her communication was so effective and perfectly balanced, making sure we were on the same page throughout without making us feel overwhelmed, especially in the lead-up to the wedding. We just feel so, so lucky to have found Regan for our wedding and know that no matter what the event or occasion, you will be in the best hands with her and her team.

We had Mike from AHE Productions as our wedding DJ, and I honestly couldn’t have chosen anyone better! His setup was one of the best I’ve ever seen—modern, sleek, and the killer lights matched our black-and-white theme perfectly. From the moment we had our planning call a few weeks before the wedding, I knew everything would run smoothly. Mike made the entire process so easy, and on the day of, everything was flawless. All the music followed our requests to a T, and our guests are still raving about the party! Mike knew exactly when to cut songs short and when to keep the energy high, plus he was fantastic at emceeing when needed. We had two grand entrances, and both were absolutely adorable and perfect. Our customized music for our choreographed first dance and serenade moment sounded incredible on the speakers. We booked Marykate as a day-of coordinator, but she was truly so much more than that. I am an overthinker and chronic stresser, and somehow my wedding day was completely stress-free. She kept every single person on track (vendors, family members, everyone) so neither of us nor our guests had to lift a finger. We all just got to enjoy ourselves and it felt like huge party with no stress. I never had to worry when the next thing would happen on the day-of because I knew Marykate would make sure it happened on time. I didn’t even find out until almost two weeks later that a massive rainstorm caused issues for some of our other vendors because Marykate handled everything so seamlessly and always had backup plans. The rain also threw off our photo schedule, and you never would have known. Marykate and her team were armed with umbrellas (which actually gave us the cutest portraits) and pivoted on a dime to keep the day running smoothly. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the wedding industry, gave excellent vendor recommendations when we asked, knew all the right questions to ask, and kept us on track throughout the entire planning process. Before my wedding, I never would have spent money on a planner if my venue hadn’t required one. Now, I’m shouting Marykate’s name to anyone who even hints that they might be getting married. My husband and I got married in August 2025 and hired Ashley for Wedding Coordination services. We knew we could handle much of the prep work ourselves but wanted a coordinator to ensure the wedding day ran smoothly so we didn't have to stress or manage logistics ourselves. Our experience working with Ashley from start to finish was fantastic and we would highly recommend her to other couples getting married. Ashley and I had multiple planning calls in the months leading up to our wedding to review details and tasks that I needed to accomplish in order to stay on track. As we got closer to the wedding Ashley began taking on coordination tasks such as putting together the wedding day timeline and reaching out to all my other vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. Throughout all these interactions she was on time, detail oriented, friendly, and followed up promptly with any action items (timeliness of email responses and follow up is a pain point I had with some other vendors throughout the wedding planning process, but not Ashley). When it came to the wedding weekend Ashley drove all the way to our venue location to run rehearsal and communicated frequent updates with me when she was running late due to traffic. Despite the delay we were still able to run the rehearsal quickly and get to our next event. On the wedding day itself Ashley kept all our vendors operating efficiently, set up our decor exactly as we asked, and jumped in to proactively manage a couple unforeseen bumps that occurred throughout the evening. At the end of the night she packed up everything and placed it in the bridal suite for us to pick up the next day. Although we didn't add content creation to our package, Ashley still took some video clips on her phone throughout the day and surprised us the next morning by texting them over -- it was such a thoughtful way for us to relive the day. We cannot sing her praises enough an encourage couples to hire Ashley for their wedding planning needs as she continues to grow her business.

Our wedding was on 10/24/25, at Tampa Bay Watch in St. Petersburg, FL, and I was a DIY bride who brought 95% of my own décor and even created my own timeline. My only regret is not hiring Stephanie as a month-of coordinator instead of day-of! You NEED Stephanie to run your wedding. She and her team worked tirelessly on every detail, from heavy setup and takedown to the tiniest finishing touches. She brought my dream wedding vision to life flawlessly. She has a big rental catalog, which is amazing! I rented several items (like table numbers) from her at a lower cost than making them myself - and it saved me the hassle of transporting even more décor to and from the venue. Stephanie is a total boss - professional, calm, and genuinely invested in your wedding’s success. I can’t recommend Astonishing Events enough. From the moment we started working with the Marriott, we have had the best experience. We worked with Jenna, the sales manager, a lot and she was also so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. I honestly was not stressed the week of the wedding because I felt like she was so helpful and trusted her to make sure all of my requests were met. She even came to our welcome reception to greet our guests and hand them drink tickets. A few weeks before the wedding, we met Dan, the banquet coordinator, who was absolutely fantastic and so helpful in helping us envision our room set up. He stayed the day before our wedding to set up the room early and it was flawless. He stood at the door of our reception when guests arrived to help direct them to their seats. His hard work and dedication to what he does was truly evident. I feel that Jenna and Dan truly went above and beyond to ensure we had our dream wedding. Joanna was also very helpful with our wedding room block as she is very responsive and quickly assisted with anyone hotel room needs for either my guests or myself. All of the hotel staff including front desk, valet, bartenders, servers etc were also amazing throughout our stay. We got SO many compliments from our guests about how welcoming, friendly, and helpful all the Marriott staff was. Even the maids were amazing and so warm and welcoming. From the moment we arrived at the Marriott for our wedding weekend, we were greeted by Wilmer, who was beyond helpful is unloading our car and transferring multiple items into our hotel room and he was present throughout the weekend to assist us with any other needs we had. Also, Rick and Ricardo were amazing bartenders, super friends, accommodating and truly helped to make our wedding into a full weekend event full of fun and everlasting memories. All in all I could not have asked for a better weekend with the support of the Marriott!! I would recommend this group to anyone and hope to be back to visit again soon!
