“Rachel and her team made our stressful and busy day absolutely wonderful, and now that we have our photos back, there is no denying that they were THE standout of all of those that we booked! The only thing that I would change is that she now has a new addition of a content creator that I have no doubt would be amazing! Our package included film and polaroids and Super 8 for Wedding Day and the night before. From a boudoir session in her amazing studio, a Welcome Dinner on a sailboat, different getting ready locations and all around our venue, each part was unique! Getting ready, first touch, the ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, reception, and golden hour each have a unique different focus, which I absolutely love. The polaroids were an amazing touch, and the different types of film were such a vibe! I could not ask for more to have captured our memories and make them feel timeless! Of all of the research I had attempted to do to look for a photographer, Rachel was perfect and surpassed expectations! She and her team were flexible, experienced, professional, and have tremendous range. It was so evident that they put in work before the events to know what we were looking for. She even has great recommendations for other vendors and her connections show how well respected she is. Rachel also has a wonderful personality that seems to click with anyone. Rachel was wonderful to work with from the start. She had clear and consistent communication and it’s obvious that she is professional that loves what she does, and through our multiple sessions I had no doubt that she had our best interest in mind and was happy to be behind the camera and supporting us. The team was constantly multi-tasking, aware of what was going on, caused no concerns for us, but also always seemed to be in the right place at the right moment. She and her team were more than familiar with our timeline, what we wanted most out of the day, and needed no reminders, and as things will inevitably happen, they were quick to adjust with a smile. Time goes by so quickly during the events, and she and her team were always prepared and making what we had hoped and planned for happen! After our initial inquiry, Rachel responded quickly and we scheduled a video call, during which she was super engaged and attentive! We could tell that she really listened to what we shared we were looking for and seemed genuinely excited for what we were planning and happy to be a part of it. Her service guide and contract were clear and so were expectations. My husband and I could tell from the start that she not only had a great eye but had the business part of what she does down as well. There wasn’t a single instance during the period of time we worked together that I had doubts or felt on edge about our decision to go with her or that the end product from her team would be lacking. She checked in often and asked for a detailed questionnaire and mood board not only as a part of the inquiry, but also closer to the day which I loved as over months and months of planning things do shift and change. They did a great job of capturing candid moments and getting group shots. They were somehow able to let us enjoy the experience but also get those specific shots we’d requested. They were able to make each part of the day fun, memorable, and unique. We are so happy to say that we have traditional family portraits, candid, and even photos that look editorial!”

Tara Beth Photography is a place of inclusion, empathy, intimacy, and care. From the first email, I take care with my clients. Considering them all unique, and with that, their stories being unique. We talk about how you want to be captured, how your love should be captured. We go over insecurities, love stories, and anything else that may come up during our Zoom calls. I don't want to be just someone you hire. I want to be considered someone you trust, and enjoy to have around!

“My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Tara Beth for our wedding in December 2022. We started following her instagram years prior and fell in love with how she captured every moment, from the guests to the couple. Not only were her photos amazing, but being a part of the LGBTQ community can feel daunting at times when reaching out to vendors, specifically for same-sex weddings. We had a few tough experiences with other vendors in regards to being a same-sex couple, but Tara Beth, as she is a part of the community, made it easy to feel comfortable and accepting. We contacted her and were met with a quick response. From the start, we knew she was the one. Her vibe and passion for love sold us! My wife and I were very nervous to take photos, but Tara Beth reassured us that she would walk us through everything - and she did just that. I have the coolest job in the world: I create emotional time capsules for my couples (and hopefully you too). That way, you get to be fully present on your wedding day and you get to relive that day over and over again with the same intensity, joy and love. My not-so-secret sauce is this: I get to know you. I find out what makes you and your lover tick, and then, I craft a visual story that's reflective of you. My utmost goal is to create joyful imagery for folks who want things documented exactly as they felt.

“There are only good things to say about working with Maggie! We booked her for our engagement photos as well as for our wedding day. During the engagement session, she captured some true gems by helping us stay comfortable and true to ourselves. Leading up to our wedding day she was communicative, made sure she understood what our vision/priorities were, and worked well with our planner. On our wedding day, she was so fun to work with, got some beautiful shots of the big moments, and some incredible shots of little ones, too.
