The Eastern is a wonderful industrial, versatile venue in the heart of Eastern Market in downtown Detroit! This venue comes as a blank slate. So many different options as to how you can dress this venue up for a wedding/event. Be sure to use the few large wooden tables it comes with for your buffet table, hors d’oeuvre table, seating outdoors, head-table etc. Look no further than The Eastern or The Norwood for your wedding! I would recommend this venue to any couple looking to have a wedding in a unique spot, rather than a ballroom.

I worked with Chris at the Cadieux stage for a celebration of life event. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the venue, working with their staff, and hosting an event there. The event space is beautiful, uniquely Detroit, and very big. Chris and his staff were super helpful! They did so many extra jobs for the day of the event that wasn't even their job to do. They also were super helpful in talking out how to best use the space and figure out what is best for your event. Chris is extremely professional and responds in a very timely manner. He is very great to work with. This venue was a really special place to have a special event!
