About this venue

Plan your wedding on the charming grounds or in the historic 1845 New School church. With exclusive use of Mill Race Village, your wedding can be held any time of the year. In the Church or outside in the gazebo, weather permitting, your ceremony will be a memorable event in this picturesque Victorian setting. A Village Representative will be with you during your event to open and close the church and to keep the public off the grounds of the Village while your wedding is in progress, ensuring your privacy. Couples must provide their own clergy or officiant to perform their ceremony. Decorating the wedding site and clean up of the site is the responsibility of the couple. If you're planning an outdoor event for your wedding the Church is available for use in case of inclement weather.

Quaint Victorian era Village, nestled on a 12-acre peninsula with a waterfall. Beautifully landscaped, private grounds with an elaborate gazebo, and circa 1845 church provide plenty of options for your special ceremony. Accommodates up to 120. Available year round, pick your favorite season to exchange your vows. Provide your special decorating touches.

The New School Church is equipped with: • Heated and air-conditioned. • Unity candles are the only flames allowed. • Antique electric organ included. • 10 pews seat approximately 50. • Approximately 70 wooden folding chairs – may be set up outside. • Chairs and pews may be rearranged. Must be put back to original placements. • Small balcony. • Handicap accessible to main floor. • Two large bathrooms downstairs – can be used as dressing rooms. Cady Inn has handicap accessible restrooms. Call office to make arrangements. • Complete kitchen downstairs.
