Davey is a true professional and seemed to do everything with ease. During the actual ceremony he MC'd throughout the night, i.e. introducing the officiant, providing a segue-way to the toast, and politely directing our guests to dessert. He did so in an easy yet confident tone that was completely cringe-free. Musically, we were so happy with what Davey played. We requested a mix of well-known party-starters but noting too basic or over-played. He came with sophisticated remixes of old faves and served up some great 90's throwbacks as well. He then transitioned toward more contemporary dance music territory which setup our headlining DJ perfectly. Davey is anything but a basic wedding DJ with lame tunes and a cheap tux. If you're looking for someone who really gets it, is a breeze to work with, and honestly cares about your big event- you've found the one.”

“When first meeting with Ram-Z, we were instantly drawn to his energy and thought he would be the perfect MC for our wedding. He was communicative, professional, and flexible, going as far as helping me remix a surprise song for the bridal processional. He remained patient with us even as we sent updates to our song list during wedding week! On our wedding day, Ram-Z was genuinely invested in making sure we had a great day–beyond just playing music–by checking in with us throughout the evening and even tracking us down at the end of the night to wish us good luck. In planning music for the wedding, we shared a few playlists with Ram-Z so he could get an idea of our preferences. Although our musical tastes are a bit eclectic, we were hoping for a little more continuity during the dancing portion of the evening. The dance floor was not as active as we would have liked, and while we had competing activities (i.e. games) for our guests, we felt that more energetic music might have encouraged more people to dance. We absolutely loved working with Ram-Z, but if we were to go back in time, we would have communicated more explicitly the vibe we were going for in terms of music rather than just sharing playlists.”

As a 28 year old bride and 33 year old groom we wanted a fun, high-energy reception to keep our diverse 100 person guestlist dancing all night. We had many guests/family from the, Rio Grande Valley and Venezuela, along with many friends from all over the US and from all cultures. He smoothly integrated must-play songs and requests in both English and Spanish to keep everyone happy and dancing, just as we'd hoped. “SUPER EASY to work with. I did not book KOOLROD, in fact I had another DJ booked for months. The night before my sons wedding, the DJ had to back out due to a family emergency. KOOLROD stepped in and agreed to be our DJ. He was VERY easy to work with, read all of the information ahead of time, and was well-prepared. I appreciate how chill he was to work with; he had no problems when we made changes to the songs and adjusted our planned schedule for the evening. Would give KOOLROD 10 stars if that was an option!”
