Mill Hall was built in 1873 and operated as a grain mill until the early 2000s. Following an extensive renovation, the Hall is now ready for use as an event venue. Fully heated and air conditioned, the building is entirely hardwood, with beautiful light and open design. It is perfect for an eclectic, warm event. The space features two full floors of entertaining space. Downstairs offers 2800 square feet of formal dining area with full bar, featuring four barn doors to the outside porch. The rear of the building is being renovated to provide an dedicated dance and entertainment zone. Upstairs features two lounges, plus two changing areas and cozy prep rooms for the wedding party. Located in Zeeland, MI, District 5 Schoolhouse is a historic wedding venue with a narrative that extends into the 1800s. Its walls have withstood over a century of use and housed various types of establishments. For couples who seek a spot with heritage, this venue can tick that box. There are two outdoor areas as well as two decks for seating. Before the ceremony, the betrothed can get ready in separate suites, both located on the premises. Bar services are included in packages and decorations may be rented on request. For downtime, couples and their guests have the opportunity to enjoy a bonfire or numerous outdoor games.

The Centennial Barn is a beautiful venue for weddings up to 150, set on over 113 sprawling acres. Included in the property rental is a gorgeous hip roof barn with a rich wood interior, soaring ceilings, sound system, large bar, chairs, and farmhouse style wood tables. We offer two large indoor handicapped accessible restrooms, a fire pit, and an outdoor cocktail/ reception space complete with 16' concrete bar, lights and sound. The only private event space offered at Founders, The Centennial Room features a fully-staffed bar with eight taps (including one nitro tap), and can accommodate groups up to 65 seated (with additional seating for 50 on the deck.) Located on the second story of our facility, the room has a small lounge area with comfortable leather chairs and two walls of windows - east and south-facing - looking out over the city of Grand Rapids. Our wraparound porch connects to the event space via two glass-garage doors. The room is outfitted with three large flat-screen televisions and a retractable projector screen for PowerPoint or video presentations. A podium with a microphone can be available for any speeches or group announcements. The Centennial Room can be booked in 3-hour minimum blocks. Additional time can be added at a price per-hour charge if available.

We are a new Event Venue located in Alaska, Michigan in Caledonia Township. Our venue received a complete renovation in June 2021. Our venue was originally a church built around 1880. We’ve kept the stained glass windows from the 1900’s and have updated them throughout the venue. We are a historical venue with a modern touch. We think you’ll love it.
