The team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected with Bethany, her communication was professional, super responsive, and incredibly helpful in making sure every detail of our special day was exactly as we envisioned. The venue itself is a secret beauty, with beautiful water views, gorgeous gardens, and a historic, charming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the garden to table food prepared by Chef Troy was absolutely delicious. We asked the owner Gary to give a short talk about the history of the property and its mission to support local housing - it added such meaningful context to the experience. The entire staff took wonderful care of us and our guests throughout the wedding, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. We are so grateful to the team at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn for helping make our wedding day a true dream come true.

Many buildings are heated and all within walking distance of the main hall, but some are open-air enclosed cabins. Our event spaces are large and suitable for big group meetings and activities. Outdoor ceremonies can be held throughout the grounds or in the main hall. Getting married at Camp Parsons was great. Josh Cunningham, the camp director, went above and beyond to help us with our special day. Josh answered any and all questions, answering with the most friendly, helpful attitude. The camp is situated in a private and gorgeous area, right on the bay. If you/guest love camping this is a great place to rent out for a long weekend wedding. We rented out the whole camp Friday-Sunday afternoon and our guests had a blast. Because the camp is nestled between forest and ocean it afforded us a lot of opportunities for amazing pictures. The health lodge was perfect for getting ready and for us (bride and groom) to stay in the night of the wedding. All in all, the venue was affordable, had everything we needed for a successful wedding and we will forever have great memories of our marriage.

Fireseed is such a beautiful location and the staff and owners put their all into ensuring you have the smoothest ride, planning and the day of. Everyone kept asking us if wedding planning was stressing us out, I can honestly say Fireseed made it so easy. We only had to book our music, flowers, alcohol, and a couple permits. The rest was all taken care of by Fireseed and their team. I can not recommend it more and knew as soon as I saw the location if I had ties to Whidbey Island I would be getting married there. I cannot recommend Roche Harbor Resort more for your wedding! The space is gorgeous and incredibly flexible. We had our ceremony in the garden, but there's a chapel for rain so there's no need to worry about what you're going to do in the event of it. The patio and reception pavilion were really open (so thrilled to have found a venue with an indoor-outdoor reception space), but still felt really intimate. Their team were so friendly, kind, patient, accommodating, and creative. Seriously, I could not have pulled this off without them. The help they gave me when planning (such as weighing in on signature cocktails, talking through menus, and coordinating linens) was invaluable. You don't have to worry about knowing all the little things for the venue because they are going to know them already. So many of my guests did not use the block code, but they still managed to provide me with a list of everyone. They got us exactly the kind of rooms we needed (we did a lot of DIY decor and brought our pets so we needed a room with space) and the condos were a really lovely home base for our group. And they were able to make changes and provide us with pack n plays and have everything ready for us early when we got in. Which we did not expect, but were so thankful for! They really work with you and your vendors to make sure everyone is on the same page and the day-of really shows that. The service was SO seamless and impeccable. They sent a golf cart about 6 times because I was running late on my schedule without complaint (I am so sorry about that, y'all!) They let me wait in the lobby while we setup the first look. They held me up and strapped my heels on once I got to the garden. They brought me a plate of appetizers and a cocktail as soon as we walked to the patio and then for the rest of the night I never even had a chance to think about needing something. Someone always beat me to it. I spent no time at all coordinating once the event got going, which is such a rare thing for events in general let alone weddings. The staff knows exactly what they're doing. The signature drinks were spectacular, I wish I was drinking a strawberry rhubarb margarita right now. The restaurant staff is incredible, the front desk crew, baristas, shop cashiers, housekeeping are all the best. The bartender and drivers were incredible troopers who were somehow more energetic than me by the end of the night. There is too much to mention that I can never list it all or thank everyone enough! I will always think of here for any event in future, since the wedding was a one time thing. haha TL;DR: Unbelievable value and incredible wedding experience. Book here.

Had the most beautiful wedding at Wisteria Gardens. As we planned a wedding from 9 hours away Heather made everything so easy. Whether that be doing a walk through with relatives local to the area, text messages and phone calls to answer questions, or sending pictures of decorations they had onsite, she was on it. She always made sure she had our best interest in mind, even on the day of she helped with all the set up and things behind the scenes. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. On top of having a great host, the venue was amazing. We had numerous compliments on how beautiful the event space was. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an extremely helpful host to take some of the stress off of you and the most beautiful venue in the Skagit valley.

Our elopement at Iliana's Glamping Village was everything we could have hoped for—peaceful, romantic, and surrounded by nature. The glamping tents were the perfect mix of cozy and adventurous, giving us a memorable spot to celebrate our day. We exchanged our vows under the towering pines, and the beautiful surroundings made our photos absolutely stunning. Afterward, we headed to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon for an amazing reception with delicious food and a relaxed vibe. We wrapped up the night back at the Glamping Village with a campfire, sharing stories, and dancing under the stars. One of the best things about this venue is that we can keep coming back to celebrate our anniversary. So many wedding venues feel like a one-time experience, but this place feels like it will always be part of our story. If you're looking for a unique and intimate elopement spot, we can’t recommend it enough!

I have worked with several venues in my life, and this was by far the easiest to organize and work with. The venue is family owned, and you can feel all the love and thoughtfulness they have built into this historic property. We had my baby shower there in Oct 2023, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property grounds is meticulously taken care of, with such a romantic and garden feel- including a big beautiful greenhouse, a green grass lawn, intimate outdoor seating with grape vines surrounding the area, and a large patio with canopy coverage. You feel all the feels as you’re walking around the property. Even surrounding the property is farm fields and trees, just adding to the beauty and allowing plenty of parking! I couldn’t recommend this place more! It is such a gem hidden in a small farm town.

Have your wedding here! If you like the water, the outdoors, the beach, chill people and avoiding the wedding industrial complex, this is the place for you. We looked at so many venues, and none came close to this place. Guemes Island is easily accessible with a short ferry ride, yet you feel far away from the city. It's surrounded by woods and right on the beach! The resort has a bunch of cabins that are all included in the rental. Our friends and family stayed the whole weekend. There are plenty of Airbnb's on the island if you have more people than they can hold. They were super helpful every step of the way. The staff are all so nice and clearly care about the place they are working at. It's also owned by locals, which is awesome. We spent months looking at venues, toured a bunch of them, and none had what we were looking for. Or their fee just to rent their ballroom for the afternoon was twice what you pay here for the entire resort all weekend! Your wedding is going to be awesome, why not enjoy it for multiple days? As soon as we arrived here, we knew this was the place. The staff was also super easy to work with and very helpful with anything we needed. They truly went above and beyond. Not only do you get all the cabins included so 90 people can stay all weekend, they have a sauna, wood fired hot tub (3 cabins have their own hot tub too), and plenty of room to grill, eat, and party. We rented a huge tent to have the reception in. They also have great relationships with vendors who made the day amazing and flow smoothly. There is a store at the resort, and another one on the island if you need anything. Anacortes is also a very short ferry ride away. The ferry was not an issue, the ride takes 5 minutes and it sails often. If you're used to the chaos of the state ferries, don't worry here. Our wedding was incredible, and Guemes Island Resort was a huge part of making that happen.

My granddaughter chose Eagle Mountain for her summer wedding and it turned out to be the most wonderful choice. From the first meeting with Kim throughout the planning and the beautiful wedding til the final cleanup Kim made sure it was a wedding and reception beyond all expectations. It’s a stunning outdoor setting with the enormous amount of flowers and trees and the valley view along with all the areas set up for the different parts of the events it was the perfect place. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a venue for not just weddings but family and friends get togethers.

Our wedding was almost an awful day. Over half of our guests left due to bad weather and simply because they didn’t want to stay after getting their cupcake . It was very frustrating and it changed a lot of our plans. We ended up moving indoors and ending everything early. DeeDee was amazing enough to help us change our send off by letting us use her bubble machine and wands ON THE SPOT. We were so grateful for her flexibility on our day. 10/10 recommend this venue!!

We had our dream wedding at Briarwood and it was the best decision that we could have made! Jessica was a great communicator and put us at ease as we were a bit nervous planning our wedding. The venue itself is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and has so many areas to play around with. It was difficult to pick only 1 space so we did each part of the wedding in different areas. The large open lawn space was perfect for our ceremony, we had our cocktail hour in the white blossom garden and then our reception in the Wisteria Den. It was all so magical and our guests were so excited about what was coming next. We haven't seen our professional photos yet, but I saw some sneak peeks and the venue is stunning for photos! Our favorite part overall was being able to stay at the cottages from Thursday to Sunday. We were able to load in our decor Thursday which made it so easy and gave us peace of mind that everything was in one location. Waking up on Friday morning and being able to walk around the venue a day before getting married was on of the highlights of the whole weekend. Being able to walk to our cottage at the end of the night after our reception was amazing. We spent the night of our wedding around the fire pit with our closest friends. We had the magical garden wedding of our dreams and I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone if they are looking for an outdoor venue!

The Manor House is a beautiful venue that all of our guests enjoyed greatly. The food was delicious and, despite some very minor hiccups around dietary miscommunications, everything on the day of our wedding flowed very smoothly. In the planning stage, there were minor lapses in communication that made planning our wedding from a distance more difficult, but overall we found the staff to be pleasant, the venue to be gorgeous, and our wedding went off without a hitch.

We had our wedding here June 24, 2023 - and we could not have been happier with our choice. The venue itself is just beautiful already, but Dave and Terri are constantly doing work throughout the year to improve it in whatever way they can think of! We booked our venue 1 1/2 years in advance, so we took many trips to Stilly Brook during that time, and every single time we went to visit we noticed an additional change that had been made to keep the venue looking beautiful. Whether it was repainting to make something look more fresh/vibrant, planting new flowers, or adding a new structure to use as an additional option for ceremony location or photos - they are always working hard to keep this venue in tip top shape year round. Even the massive lawn stays mowed and in pristine condition! Additionally, a great feature here is while there are many outdoor options for where the ceremony is to be held, there is a beautiful indoor option as well! In the PNW, even for a summer wedding, it was great to know we had a great back up option in case the weather didn’t cooperate. Lastly, Terri is amazing to work with - she is so communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable. She lays things out thoroughly to help navigate all the ins and outs of wedding planning you may not even think of, and was always available for any questions or needs we had. Special mention to their preferred bartender, Leanne, who was just as communicative and helpful as Terri while planning for the bar! The great quality and kindness of the preferred vendors, and the beautiful condition of the property itself, are a reflection of all the care that is put into this venue by Dave and Terri - this is something that becomes even more clear with each interaction, as this care is poured into your day as well. We highly recommend Stilly Brook!!

We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! We had a 35 person wedding at Dunn Gardens in July 2024. It was absolutely amazing. Choosing the gardens was hands-down the best decision of our wedding and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. My husband and I searched all over WA and the Bay Area for wedding venues. We were looking for: - an outdoor wedding in the woods - a space appropriate for 40 guests - the ability to host a medium fancy, catered event- like an elevated backyard wedding We chanced upon Dunn Gardens on a botanical garden website. The moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect spot for us. The space alone may be the most gorgeous, well hidden little pocket of Seattle out there. Even folks not looking to get married should check the gardens out- we visited many times in the year leading up to our wedding, and in every season, the garden is a stunning, PNW dream. This is just what we wanted: a place where we could be at peace in the trees with our guests. It was so magical day-of, and all our guests commented on how special and beautiful the venue was. Though the scenery alone is enough to set this venue apart, the rest of our experience here was also incredible. The professionalism and assistance we received from our venue coordinator, Sara, was wonderful. She helped us every step of the way (for a year!) coordinating with our outside vendors, helping us make key decisions, and solving problems for us that arose day-of with our caterers. Working with Sara was one of the best parts of our wedding process. We also loved the flexibility and access the venue provided. In addition to our Saturday wedding, we hosted a casual rehearsal dinner and nature walk at the gardens Friday night, plus a floral prep party in the garden cottage Friday afternoon. Then, after the wedding, we had Sunday and Monday to clean up. The ongoing access to the gardens all weekend was so helpful logistically and gave us more time to enjoy the space with our families. Most of our wedding took place on lawns outside (there are many little areas to set things up- we had our rehearsal dinner on the cottage lawn, ceremony on the tennis lawn, and reception on the great lawn). For our floral prep, rehearsal dinner food area, and getting ready areas, we used the cottage. We did not rent a tent since it was July (a tent would be a good idea most other months). The venue was very flexible with our choice of vendors and our timeline and vision for the event. A few restrictions that worked fine for us were the limit on the headcount (40 at the time we had our wedding), time cutoff (guests out by 9pm- this was perfect, we bar hopped in Fremont with our friends afterwards), and no microphones, speakers, or DJs (we had a keyboardist, which was great. No mics for the ceremony and toasts, which was not a problem at all). A few more helpful things the venue provided were plastic banquet tables, folding chairs, use of furniture for things like outdoor lounging and gift tables, tablecloths (casual style, perfect for the rehearsal pizza dinner), vases (used for floral prep), and chalkboard signs. We loved our wedding and we are so grateful to have had it at Dunn Gardens. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to get married. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly, and encourage any couple thinking about it to stop in for a visit. You will fall in love with this garden- we certainly did and will be back for years to come.

After not hosting weddings for a few years at Stepping Stones since the new owners took over, they were incredibly helpful in coordinating a meeting with our planner to review the layout of the space. They also worked directly with her to help with setup, which meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply enjoy my day. There was a minor mix-up with the table arrangements—the paper I had received didn’t align with the website information—but once we clarified things, everything was sorted out smoothly. The staff handled it professionally, and the setup turned out perfectly in the end. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more supportive team to work with. We were married at MUCC in August of last year and it was perfect! The church space itself is lovely and looks wonderful in our photos. The sanctuary is especially beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. They also had plenty of space in another area of the church so that we could host our reception there as well. This was really helpful since we had many out of town guests who are unfamiliar with driving in the Seattle area. Beyond that, pastor Marci was really wonderful and met with us before the ceremony to talk about what we wanted. We felt really fortunate to find her, but I believe you can also have your own officiant which is not something many churches allow you to do. We also used their pianist for the ceremony music and he did a fantastic job. Overall everything was very easy and convenient, allowing us to just focus on the day. They are also a wonderful church that contributes to the community, definitely appreciate these folks!
