“I got married at 42West in September 2024 and I'm convinced it's the best wedding venue in Atlanta. Lauren is incredible and went above & beyond to help us execute a beautiful cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception (plus an amazing afterparty). We booked the venue a year in advance, and every time we came back to visit in the meantime, Lauren had made a new upgrade to the space - she expanded the bridal suite, acquired the Annex and Gallery, and expanded her furniture & decor inventory. She really took the time to understand our vision for the evening, and we valued her input & advice throughout the planning process. Other than a last name sign, we had ZERO decor budget - Lauren recreated my Pinterest board vision entirely from her own inventory. 42West's flexibility allowed us to plan an extremely personalized evening with minimal logistical stress, and their team expertly managed setup & vendor coordination. If you're comparing against other venues, 42West's biggest differentiators are: 1) No nickel-and-diming. We paid a flat price for unlimited event time and there are no surprise operational fees or taxes added on top. 2) Decor assistance. We had a low decor budget and did not prioritize aesthetics, but the wedding was still gorgeous thanks to 42West's variety of beautiful spaces and extensive furniture & decor inventory. 3) Flexibility. Lauren was very accommodating, and all venue rules are reasonable and did not feel restrictive in the slightest. We LOVED hosting our afterparty in the 42West Annex - it was one of the biggest highlights of the day - but this wouldn't have been possible at most ITP venues due to a combination of space constraints, end-time rules, or noise restrictions.”

The setting was absolutely stunning, with unreal, breathtaking views that made us feel like we had the entire islands reserved just for our special day. He was so kind, supportive, and incredibly organized, handling coordination with every vendor and anticipating our needs with unmatched dedication. Our wedding simply would not have gone off without him, and his exceptional care is a huge reason our day was so flawless. The food was phenomenal—truly the best wedding cuisine we’ve ever tasted! The staff, particularly at Sidney’s Restaurant and throughout our reception, provided the warmest, most attentive service. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how well they were treated and the outstanding experience from the moment they arrived to the time they left. We also have to highlight the front desk staff, who went above and beyond in making our guests feel so welcomed. They happily passed out our goody bags and were incredibly accommodating with early and late checkouts, ensuring everyone had a smooth, enjoyable stay. The golf carts were a massive hit, making transportation around the islands so much fun and convenient. The staff even went out of their way to meet guests or assist with returning the carts. With guests staying across all three locations—the Lodge, the Villas, and the LakeHouses—everyone was blown away by the beautiful accommodations. And our honeymoon suite? It was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect escape after our unforgettable celebration. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Fernando, the front desk team, and the entire Lake Lanier Islands staff for making our wedding so extraordinary. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue, and we will forever cherish the memories of that beautiful day!”
