I’m a born and raised Arizona Native, lover of antiques and overly obsessed dog mom. My husband and I got married in November 2020, we’ve actually known each other since we were kids (cute, right?)! He’s my best friend, ultimate hype man and the muscle that keeps Sage + Stone going. So needless to say he’s pretty great. After 8+ years in the events industry, I’ve finally found my passion – creating one of a kind, unique to you wedding experiences for the wildly in love. So with the love and support from friends and family, I officially launched Sage + Stone Weddings on March 1st, 2021 and haven’t looked back since!

“From the first time I spoke to Codi, I knew we were in amazing hands with her as our wedding planner! She made our entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable - seriously I would have been lost without her! The planning process was so seamless and Codi thought of everything that I never would have even began to think about to make our day go so smoothly. Our wedding day was unseasonably hot at 105 degrees, but Codi and her team didn’t miss a beat! My jaw literally dropped when we walked into our reception for the first time - it was better than I could have even imagined. I kept saying to my husband, “I can’t believe this is OUR wedding”, it was seriously better than we could have even imagined. Not to mention that she brought the vibes dancing through our whole reception. At the end of the night, all of our stuff was perfectly packed up for us so we didn’t need to think about it. “My wife and I could not express enough how great our entire wedding experience was with Venue at the Grove. Here are a few down to earth notes to take away. The planning process was incredibly simple. With all the moving parts weddings encompass, the staff were very flexible and accommodating to what we wanted to make our day as special as it was. The setting for the ceremony and reception felt like we were in another world. Again, the planning for how we wanted our items set up were seamless with the staff's help. They made sure all the details we wanted were accommodated for. Lastly, but certainly very important and helpful was the cleanup for the end of the night. Staff were on point with making sure we had all our belongings and items needed prior to departing the venue. We had no worries with making sure everything was cleaned up and accounted for. Overall, our day was perfect and so happy we chose Venue at the Grove. Between the early consultations for planning, the beautiful setting, and logistics at the end of the night, I would recommend this venue to anyone searching for a location for their special day.”

He was very early, and set up with plenty of time to spare. His speaker system and microphones for toasts worked great. “We hired Ricky - Goodeye Photography - for both our engagement and wedding photos, and holy cow did he blow us away. Hiring him was easily the best decision we made. From start to finish, Ricky was an absolute joy to work with. His professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail made every minute of planning and shooting a wonderful experience. I originally found Ricky on Instagram (@goodeye.photography) and after a quick scroll through his page, I instantly knew he was who we needed. Every photo in his portfolio had emotion and love in them. After finding his Instagram page, I reached out and he very quickly responded with all necessary information. He communicated clearly and quickly throughout this entire process which was very appreciated! I plan events professionally and half the time it’s like pulling teeth to even get a response from someone. Never once did Ricky have a delayed response or leave us with more questions than answers. My husband is what we’d call “camera shy” and was pretty anxious leading up to our engagement shoot as this was his first time getting professional photos done. And while Ricky always behaves in a very professional manner, he also is extremely personable, friendly, and frankly just straight up funny. We instantly connected with him and he made my husband feel so much more relaxed - heck, my husband even had FUN during the shoot which I didn’t think possible haha. It goes without saying that the engagement photos were absolutely stunning… each one better than the last. As the big day drew nearer, Ricky met with us regularly and assisted us in our agenda, timeline, and all these other small details you don’t even think about. On the day of our wedding, Ricky and his team went above and beyond to capture every moment. He has an incredible eye for detail and was able to capture the essence of our day beautifully. (Petition for him to change his name from Good Eye Photography to Incredible Eye Photography ;) After the ceremony was over and it was time for my new husband and I to sneak off during cocktail hour to take our photos, a lovely wedding guest managed to spill red wine all down my white dress. Before I could even flinch, Ricky immediately jumped in and said “Don’t worry, I can edit out these red stains in all the pictures.” One of the BEST parts of working with Ricky is also his quick turnaround time. I wanna say it was like 5 days after the wedding and Ricky had already turned around a handful of “sneak peak” photos - which is quite impressive considering how many other weddings he had booked after ours. And to no ones surprise - there wasn’t a hint of red wine stains in any of the pictures ) Our wedding photos are more than what we could have ever hoped for. I may be biased, but truly some of these pictures deserve to be hung in the Louvre. I cannot recommend Good Eye Photography enough (and on that note it’s worth mentioning that since our engagement photoshoot with Ricky, two of my other friends that were engaged have also hired him and his team for their weddings)! If you are looking for a talented and passionate photographer who will go the extra mile to make your special moments unforgettable and your planning process a breeze, then Ricky is the guy for you.”

“We LOVE Andrea! The second we met her in our initial call, we knew that she was the perfect photographer for us. We are both a little camera shy and awkward, and Andrea made us feel comfortable and taken care of! We had Andrea shoot both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and both times, we were absolutely thrilled at how the session/day went, as well as how the photos turned out. Andrea has a background in both video and journalism, so her ability to frame and capture a moment meant that we have these beautiful photos from the most important day in our lives that really reflect the energy, love, and joy.
