Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15+ years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife felt I could be a breath of fresh air for couples in a highly saturated market. She encouraged me and I founded the company in 2020. Because love inspires, love changes everything, I named my company after my love, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

What makes Ellyce Wedding Films unique is that we are able to create cinematic wedding films in an unobtrusive way. If I am not personally shooting your wedding, you can rest assured that all of the videographers contracted by Ellyce Wedding Films are experienced professionals with top-notch gear and enthusiasm for shooting weddings.

Ellyce Wedding Films was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding videography. From the very beginning, Fernando’s communication was clear, concise and professional, putting us at ease throughout the process. The quality of his work was truly amazing - delivered the final video in a timely manner and went above and beyond by providing us with all of the extra raw footage and clips neatly organized. The team at Ellyce Wedding Films contributed so much to making our special day feel even more special. We had a really great experience overall and would highly recommend them to any other couples planning their wedding.

I have shot over 650 weddings over the course of more than 20 years.

It is best practice if we arrive at least one hour before the bride puts on her dress, and for us to leave a half hour after the dance floor opens. You may want to add hours if you have a unique moment happening beforehand or after this time period.

We place a small lavaliere mic on the groom during the ceremony. If you have wedding gifts or letters for each other, you can decide if you want audio recorded; we prefer to have audio. During the reception, we plug into the DJ's system, or your band's audio engineer board. (Confirm with your DJ/band if you want to be sure!) We always have a backup mic during the ceremony and reception.

Yes, we pick the music for your final videos. We pay to copyright music from a couple of sites. Most popular songs cannot be legally licensed for a reasonable price. If desired, you can look through the websites we use and let us know what you like.

Your videos will be ready between 8-to-12 weeks after your wedding. You can request expedited editing to receive your videos in less than 3 weeks for an additional cost.
