Waldenwoods is a destination wedding venue like no other in Southeast Michigan. Nestled in the middle of a beautiful wooded setting and alongside a crystal clear spring-fed lake, Waldenwoods boasts two unique ceremony and reception sites. The Cromaine Hall and Lakeview Tented Venue are both their own unique and elegant location to experience. Our professional staff is dedicated to providing excellence in service from your very first visit with us, until your last goodbye to your guests.

Our Lakeview Tent offers you and up to 300 guests, the unique experience of an outdoor wedding feel but with all the luxuries of an indoor venue. Breathtaking lakeside views from the outdoor ceremony site as well as the tented reception make for a complete wedding tent package when paired with exceptional cuisine prepared by our head chef.

Dream Wedding August 2025
Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center was a wonderful venue for our wedding. From the moment we reached out, the staff was incredibly available, open, and fast in their communication, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The venue itself was beautiful, with multiple ceremony and reception spaces to choose from that allowed us to create the exact wedding we envisioned. The team was attentive to all of our needs and requests, and we were thrilled with the incredible value we received for the quality of the service and facilities. Our guests are still raving about the gorgeous setting and delicious food. We would highly recommend Waldenwoods to any couple looking for a picturesque and well-run wedding venue.

The staff at Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center responded to every question, comment, and request very promptly, at least within 48 hours. I preferred email over phone calls so I could keep track of our conversations, and they fully delivered for our wedding day. They not only answered questions and requests, but I also had full confidence they would execute everything flawlessly. The Sunshine Cove was drop-dead gorgeous and an absolute steal of a price. It could not have been more magical for my husband and I. It was everything in my Pinterest board and more! You could not have gotten a more perfect outdoor, lake wedding style for the price they offer. We added drapery that enhanced the magical experience but it could also do without it. The lake was stunning and I can't even believe how beautiful the sunset looked across the lake. The nearby photo backdrops were also stunning! whichever direction you faced, the backdrop was amazing. We were in one location but the photos felt like we were in 10 different locations which brought different experiences in the photos. The staff at Waldenwoods was truly helpful on the day of our wedding. They made us our own plates and got us drinks so we didn't have to go through the buffet. Before the ceremony, they hid me away as the bride so no one would see me before the walk down the aisle. They got me a chair and kept me hydrated in the reception area. They were so thoughtful and really cared about my experience as a bride! I highly recommend Waldenwoods Resort for a stress-free wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a spacious and accommodating event space that was conveniently located for our guests. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center as our wedding venue. Their communication was prompt and reliable - they always responded to emails and calls within 24 hours. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and made for stunning photos. The quality and attention to detail really showed in everything from the gorgeous ballroom to the perfectly manicured grounds. Our coordinator helped make our ceremony flow smoothly and stress-free. The final detail meeting we had with their team a few weeks before the wedding was invaluable for fine tuning our timeline and ironing out any last minute questions. Overall working with Waldenwoods was a dream - they are true professionals who helped our vision come to life with style and care.
