About this venue

The Mountain Room at Mount Southington strives to create the perfect day for our Brides and Grooms by providing rustic chic amenities at an affordable price. Our Mountain Room is warm with wood accents, lofted ceilings, beautiful arching beams and one ceiling-to- floor glass wall from which there is a stunning view of our grounds. Ceremonies can be held outside on our spacious lawn and cocktail hour can be held on our vast patio.

We had our wedding in the Mountain Room in October, and it truly couldn’t have been better. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home and that feeling stuck with us throughout the entire process. Wedding planning can be stressful but from the very beginning, Andrea and Melissa made everything fun, easy, and seamless. The venue is stunning, the on-site bridal suite is spacious and convenient, and the entire staff was incredible. Our day was absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, this is your sign to check out The Mountain Room!!

The Mountain Room at Mount Southington was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, their communication and coordination was excellent - they were in constant contact with us to ensure all the details were taken care of. The venue itself offered great flexibility, with options for the cocktail hour and reception that allowed us to customize the space to our liking. We especially loved the chair lift entrance and all the scenic views surrounding the venue. Working with Melissa, one of their day-of coordinators, was invaluable - her guidance before and during the wedding day ensured everything ran smoothly and all our needs were met. We highly recommend using one of the Mountain Room's day planners to help coordinate your special day. Overall, the Mountain Room provided incredible value and helped make our wedding day truly fun and unforgettable.

I had my wedding here and it was great. Melissa and Andrea were very helpful and responsive to all my questions. I liked that I was able to adjust what I wanted for my day of before the wedding day rather than being locked into what I had decided the day I signed the contract. They were very flexible and I would recommend them as a wedding venue to anyone. I would have preferred to have the venue for the whole day rather than the allotted time allowed but that doesn't reflect on Melissa and Andrea and how my wedding day went. The wedding was perfect, I would pick The Mountain Room over again.

Incredible wedding venue! From the day we took our first tour to our wedding day, Andrea and Melissa were wonderful! We wanted a rustic venue, and The Mountain Room did not disappoint. Our photos turned out gorgeous with all the fall decor and beautiful trees on the property. We highly recommend this venue!
