The Inn is an ideal location for special events and parties of any shape and size, with several versatile gathering venues and flexible seating throughout the inn, courtyard, porch, deck, and restaurant. Amazing
We worked with Eleanor throughout our entire experinece and we cannot express how grateful we were for her communication as well as her flexibility for our needs. The staff working the event and at the Groton Inn for the day were very accomodating and in the middle of me having a heavy emotional moment, assisted and were very kind helping get through what felt like an impossibly difficult time. The venue is very lovely and we did not anticipate how genuinely wonderful and kind everyone was throughout the entire process. They helped keep everything simple and never once complicated any thing we asked for; which we could not say for any of the nearby vendors that we had encountered. If you are looking for something simple and lighthearted and a wonderful crew with great food, this is the venue to be!
Great place to host a welcome reception
We hosted a welcome reception at Groton Inn in advance of our son’s wedding. It was a big event - about 140 people. The Groton Inn team was professional, responsive and friendly. Everything went very smoothly and people had a super time. The outdoor patio and fireplace are charming. Highly recommend
Our Dream Wedding at The Groton Inn
We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience than what we had at The Groton Inn. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was something special—charming New England character, cozy fireplaces, an on-site art gallery, and beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to suit any style of celebration. But what truly made our wedding unforgettable was working with Eleanor. She was organized, warm, and incredibly thoughtful every step of the way. We felt supported from day one, and when the big day came, we didn’t have to lift a finger. Set-up, coordination, and clean-up were all handled flawlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. Everything about our day felt personal and intentional, never rushed or cookie-cutter. We are still getting compliments from our guests! If you’re searching for a venue that’s both stunning and expertly managed, look no further than The Groton Inn.
Beautiful MA Wedding Venue!
We've worked with Eleanor and the events team at Groton Inn on several weddings for our mutual clients and we are always so happy to be there! Every moment of the event is highly-organized and well-executed. There are several locations to hold your ceremony, cocktail hour in the courtyard is lovely, and the Prescott Room is a perfectly cozy space for events of 60-80 guests. The staff is courteous and professional, the food is excellent, and the space has been well-designed for these kinds of affairs. As live wedding entertainers, we've been to many wedding venues, and Groton Inn is one of our favorites. We can't wait to be back!
