    We hosted our wedding at Pagu this past August, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the ceremony through cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and dancing, the entire evening flowed seamlessly. All the planning with the Pagu events team was advanced and wonderful! Creating a tasting menu and custom cocktails were all fun steps along the way, and it never felt stressful or rushed. Connecting Pagu with our other vendors was easy and seamless, and made it easy for them to adapt to the space! Amanda handled on-the-day coordination with such professionalism and care that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The food was phenomenal! We had been to Pagu several times in the past for anniversaries and special occasions, and Pagu’s menu at the wedding still wowed not only us but all of our family and friends, who are still raving about it. The staff were attentive, warm, and ensured that every detail was taken care of. Pagu provided the perfect atmosphere for a fun, vibrant evening that felt true to us. It was elegant, lively, and intimate but still full of fun energy. Pagu will continue to be a meaningful place in our relationship and one we can return to often.

    My wife and I had a great time at Pagu for our August wedding. Venue: Pagu has a excellent venue that at its base, gives a classy and modern feel that brings out aesthetic additions. We had a modest flower budget but the venue and staff made it look we spent twice as much. Staff: Wedding staff were excellent. It was a seamless experience in terms of serving drinks, delivering courses, and attending to guest needs. It made it easy for us to focus on our family and friends. Amanda and Chris went above and beyond what we had expected. The event would not have been as smooth if it were not for the both of them. They were involved from the start of our planning and were clear, concise, and problem-solvers. Food: The wedding food and drink was excellent as well. Our guests loved everything that was served to them. Dessert was the unanimous winner for everyone as they loved the ube mochi and cookies (sesame and matcha). Inventive drinks were strong and flavors were balanced. Both food and drink were visually appealing and tasty. Location: The venue is very close to a parking garage and hotel (1-2 min walk). Located in Central Square, very easy access to shopping, public transportation, and nightlife. We had a lot of traveling family so this made planning for their stay and travel very easy. This saved us a lot of extra expense and time. For all the reasons stated above, along with their competitive price, Pagu is an exceptional wedding venue, especially if you have a large amount of traveling guests.

    We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pagu! From the start, the chef and owner Tracy was incredibly responsive and she got back to us right away when we inquired about hosting our wedding at the restaurant. She shared a detailed event order with sample dishes and estimated charges, which really helped us get the ball rolling with our planning. When we were able to visit Boston (we're based out of state), Tracy personally gave us our initial walkthrough. The combination of the restaurant’s cozy interior and beautiful, spacious outdoor patio made Pagu the perfect venue for our 100-guest celebration. One of the biggest reasons we wanted a restaurant wedding was the food, and Pagu absolutely delivered! Amanda and Chris T. took great care of us during our food and drink tastings, and everything was truly fantastic. The string beans, chicken katsu, miso cod, and wagyu beef were standout dishes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Tracy’s custom hot honey biscuits were also a huge hit as a late-night snack, and both the double chocolate and strawberry cakes were delicious crowd-pleasers. Like many couples, we barely had time to eat during the whirlwind of the day, but we were so happy that Pagu prepared a to-go bag of all of our food and it was all still incredibly delicious, even the next day! As the big day approached, the team answered all our questions promptly and worked closely with us to rearrange the table layout so everyone could be seated comfortably. We held our rehearsal at the venue the day before, and Amanda was incredibly helpful in coordinating everyone and making sure we all felt confident and prepared for the ceremony. The Pagu team also went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute requests (including pickleback shots and matcha cookie favors), which was deeply appreciated. Everything went off without a hitch on the actual wedding day. The transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all totally seamless, thanks to the coordination of Amanda, Chris, and Winson; it was clear that they are all seasoned pros at running a wedding, which helped us relax and enjoy the day worry-free! We can’t recommend Pagu highly enough for a wedding or special event! The food, the space, and, most importantly, the people made our day unforgettable and exceeded all expectations. We were incredibly impressed with the whole team throughout the entire process. There were so many thoughtful touches and interactions that happened throughout the planning and on the day itself. If you're considering a restaurant wedding, you won’t regret choosing Pagu!

    If you are looking for a city restaurant-style reception, Pagu is truly the best of the best. First of all, you can't beat the food, it is incredible! Not your typical wedding food, thank god! The team at Pagu, especially Amanda the manager, are so kind and helpful. They made the whole planning process so easy and enjoyable and we felt so welcome and special every time we visited the restaurant. They also worked seamlessly with our planner and our other vendors. We are so thrilled that we chose Pagu for our reception and can't wait to be able to go back for our anniversaries for years to come!
