About this venue

We are a Family owned venue nestled in the hills of the Sugar River Region where guests can enjoy their special events during all four seasons. We feature both indoor and outdoor spaces as well as 5 acres of property that all offer scenic mountain views. Our venue offers a Rustic Elegant aesthetic as well as lodging which makes the Greatful Dane Lodge a perfect destination. You and your guests will have exclusive and Private use of the entire property to enjoy and to create your own everlasting memories. Whether for the day or for the weekend, the Lodge has rooms for 18 guests open property. For day weddings, the barn has rooms for the bridal party to get ready for the big event. The Greatful Dane can be any Vibe you choose! We are a cozy yet festive, relaxed but chic barn venue setting. We offer the best of both worlds; historical with modern comforts.

The Grand Hall

The Greatful Dane Lodge offers the flexibility and the freedom to create your own personal unique experience! Pets Welcome. Private destination!

Lodging on property includes a Private home (sleeps 10) & Lodge (sleeps 8). The Grand Hall can be used as a ceremonial space in the winter or dinner with a view of Mt. Sunapee. The elegant "Blu Bar" is adjacent to the Grand Hall & seats 16 with plenty of room for cocktail hour overlooking the scenic property. Our lower level has a speakeasy vibe and boasts magnificent views. Our unique space is versatile for dinner, dancing, ceremony or as private space for an outside event. ADA and Pet Friendly

    My experience with the Folks at the Greatful Dane Lodge has been positive from the get go! From the day we met the Evans' and toured their venue, we were welcomed with kindness. We knew immediately that this unique and stunning property was where we wanted to celebrate our special moment with family and friends! If any couples are searching for that perfect wedding venue that has timeless charm, that offers scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere for people to really spend time with each other, then I would recommend the Greatful Dane Lodge 10 out of 10 times!

    The Greatful Dane Lodge was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, the team was welcoming, humorous, and sincere in their communication, making us feel right at home. Keith and Nicole’s compassionate and kind demeanor put us completely at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of, the venue itself was simply beautiful, highlighting warm, nurturing, and effervescence, with a homey feel that our guests raved about. The Greatful Dane Lodge family truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day special and stress-free.     The Greatful Dane Lodge was an amazing wedding venue for our special day. The owners were incredibly outgoing and understanding throughout the entire planning process, which helped to ease any stressful times. The venue itself is spacious, elegant, and charming - the grounds are beautiful and the interior is absolutely stunning. I haven't had my wedding yet, although the process with The Greatful Dane has been smooth so far, and I just love this space so much and can't wait for my special day here!
