To: The Entire Publick House staff; We are Tony & Kristen Lombardo (parents of the bride). This past weekend (8/31/2025) our daughter Olivia and son-in-law Mark Akers had their wedding ceremony and reception at your wonderful facility. We wanted to thank each and every person who contributed to a picture-perfect wedding event. As parents of the bride, I can tell you that we had the highest hopes and expectations and you all delivered! Thank you all very much! Virtually all of our guests were in awe of the classic colonial essence of the inn and the beautiful condition of the grounds, landscaping and flowers. Having on-site lodging, a tavern and bakery on site was key since we had folks from all over New England and others that flew in from Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, Colorado, California and Chicago. The Publick House really is a full-service venue, we highly recommend it. Oh…and it was great to have the cottage for the after-party! I specifically wanted to call out the outstanding personal attention that our coordinator Teandra provided throughout the course of the big day. Weddings can be a nerve-racking time and it’s easy for those involved to forget about details and timing. Teandra was there at every step to keep things moving forward and on schedule (and always with a smile on her face). Our daughter was so happy with Teandra and that means a lot to us. We also wanted to thank Diana Gendreau from sales for the prompt feedback and attention leading up to the wedding day, as well as the spa staff for making everyone happy and relaxed. Everything was perfect. I also wanted to call out our other coordinator May who was seemingly in constant motion handling things, and our bartender Josh who did a great job handling everyone’s requests. They were both outstanding. Finally, I’d like to call out the kitchen for the great job they did, in particular the head chef. I apologize for not recalling his name. At one point, I popped my head in to ask for a private word with Teandra (and he saw me ask her). When she came outside to speak with me, the chef came out as well and had a deeply concerned look on his face. He immediately started asking if everything was ok and what the problem was and how he could fix it. When I told him I merely came over to express my and my wife’s gratitude and how great everything was, his worried expression disappeared. I could tell that he truly cared. I’m sure I’m missing some folks who also deserve thanks like the waitstaff that had to take care of 80 people, the landscaping crew and the folks who tend to the flowers and all the people who set things up and break it down. I can tell you the meadow where the ceremony was held looked magnificent, especially with the flowered archway under that big oak tree where everyone was situated. The reception tent was clean, beautifully decorated and many were impressed that the entire tent area had tiled flooring and dance floor. In closing, we wanted to thank everyone that contributed to our daughters’ wedding. It’s not easy to impress 80 people but you certainly did! Most importantly the bride and groom were happy, impressed and expressed to us that they had a fun and memorable wedding. Not only would we recommend the Publick House as a great venue, but we have 2 other daughters and are hoping they choose you when it’s time for their big day (hint, hint… they will). With our sincerest gratitude, Tony & Kristen Lombardo

The Publick House Historic Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was prompt, easy-going, and incredibly helpful. The venue itself is beautiful, with a variety of spaces that offered a lot of value for the price. They truly went above and beyond to set everything up just how I imagined, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Publick House was the ideal spot to celebrate our special day, and I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a gorgeous, affordable, and stress-free wedding experience.

If you are looking for a wedding venue on a moderate budget, the Publick House Inn is a no-brainer!! We had a December wedding and right from the start we knew it was the right venue. Everything was so charming- the perfect vibe if you want a classy, cozy, traditional New England vibe, but you don't want it to feel insanely uptight or uncomfortable. Our planners, Allison and Lia, were AMAZING! They were extremely responsive, kind and helpful with every single question we had. Honestly, every member of the staff we encountered was so friendly and that made our experience that much better. Now in terms of price, I think you could not get an all-around better deal. I had been quoted 10K for a tent alone in some venues closer to Boston, but with the Publick House in we were able to have an event for 100 people which included hors d'oeuvres, a nice three-course meal, a cake *included* and we even had enough left in our budget to have an open bar!! The setting in central MA also made the experience so convenient and relaxing for everyone; almost like a mini-resort in the country. If you are considering the Publick House - schedule a tour!! It was so perfect we wish we could do it again.

The Publick House Historic Inn is an excellent choice for a wedding venue. Their communication style is always attentive to the details, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. They are always prepared when the guests arrive, providing exceptional service and value. The venue has a fleet of 8 passenger carts to transport the wedding party, parents, and any guests who need special assistance, which is a wonderful convenience. Our company has been hosting events at The Publick Inn for over 38 years, and we've witnessed the quality of their offerings improve over the years - we've never had a bad experience.
