Absolutely phenomenal!!!
From start to finish, the entire team at Fountain Blue was beyond incredible. I've heard that planning a wedding extremely stressful, but they made everything feel effortless for me so I didn't even experience that. Every single person we interacted with was so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They answered every question with patience, guided us through every detail, and went above and beyond in every possible way. The service on our wedding day was truly exceptional — from the staff’s professionalism to the seamless timing of the entire evening. The food was delicious, the staff was so accommodating, and the overall atmosphere was just magical. I honestly can’t thank them enough for their warmth, care, and dedication. It’s rare to find a venue that not only meets expectations but exceeds them on every level. If you’re getting married or hosting any event, I can’t recommend Fountain Blue highly enough — they are simply the best and I truly had my dream wedding with them. 3
Hidden Gem in Des Plaines
If you're searching for the perfect venue, look no further than The Fountain Blue. Nestled right on a busy street, it’s easy to drive by without realizing the beauty that lies within—but once you step inside, you're transported to a space that is elegant and warm. I hosted my daughter’s quinceañera here, and it was nothing short of magical. From the first tour with John to the final goodbye, the staff at The Fountain Blue were incredible. John was always available to answer questions, and what I really appreciated was that he didn't use annoying sales tactics like other places that try to pressure you into booking a space; he provided me with the information I needed and then answered questions and provided adequate advice/feedback along the way. Additionally, the flexibility to find your own vendors to bring your event to life was what made me choose this place over others. Overall, every single team member went above and beyond to make sure the night was flawless. They were organized, attentive, and treated me like family throughout the entire planning process and event. The venue is stunning—with gorgeous chandelier lighting, grand ceilings, and a layout that made every moment feel special. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how surprised they were that such an elegant space existed in that area. I have already recommended this space to many people!
Please Beyond Belief
We had our wedding reception at Fountain Blue on 7/26/2025, and it was truly incredible! The venue was stunning, the food was exceptional, and the entire evening went off without a hitch. John and his team were professional, responsive, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process. Communication was always clear, and everything ran smoothly the day of. Our guests are still calling us to say how beautiful the space was. Highly recommend — 10/10 experience!
Amazing place
My husband and I decided to host our wedding celebration here and we do not regret it. John was very helpful from the moment we walked in to tour the place all the way up to the end of our wedding reception. He was very helpful and flexible with any changes I wanted to be made. I had an outdoor cocktail hour that my guest fell in love with, I have a few friends who are thinking about hosting here since they really enjoyed the place and the food. Would definitely host here again!
