The Woodside Pavilion is an elegant, tented venue nestled among a grove of catalpa & white oak trees at Cantigny Golf. Surrounded by nature, you will feel as though you are outdoors, but the grand tent is a canvas waiting for you to transform it into your dream indoor venue. It can accommodate 250 guests with a bar, dance floor, elegant chandeliers & premium restrooms. The tent extends its reach with an exclusive covered patio where guests can have cocktails or catch their breath from dancing.

We hosted our wedding at Cantigny Park this past weekend and it was the most wonderful experience ever! The staff was professional, friendly and went above and beyond with their service on our wedding day. All of our guests could not stop raving about the food and service they received and how our ceremony in the Rose Garden was absolutely beautiful. Amanda and Phoebe are both so kind and made the planning process so seamless from the beginning! We cannot wait to visit Cantigny again to reminisce on our perfect day and highly recommend booking your wedding here!

This day was magical. I can't say enough about the team that helped me from the beginning to the end, Lauren and Phoebe were the best! They handled everything professionally. They were extremely responsive. The grounds here is absolutely beautiful and if you want to do a wedding or a renewal like us, I recommend this place OVER AND OVER again!

The grounds at Cantigny are gorgeous—we chose the East Lawn and it was truly beautiful for our ceremony and photos. Unfortunately, the planning process was a nightmare. We booked a year and a half in advance, told we were “so early” and would have plenty of options, only to find out nearly every September Saturday was blocked for Music in the Park. From there, communication went downhill. After signing a contract (and paying), I barely heard from Cantigny for over a year. When I finally checked in, I was told—shockingly—that they had no record of our contract, no slot reserved, and essentially no space for us. This was after our invitations were sent and vendors booked. I had to resend them the signed contract and payment proof myself, and make repeated phone calls to push them to fix their own mistake. They had actually double-booked us, and resolving that issue was by far the most stressful part of our entire wedding process. Communication was awful: constant turnover, little to no updates, and staff changes without notice. On the wedding day itself, our time was rushed, and we couldn’t fully enjoy the space because of back-to-back bookings. Pros: stunning grounds, beautiful photos. Cons: terrible communication, disorganization, rushed ceremonies. Bottom line: great for engagement photos, but as a wedding venue, not worth the stress.

Cantigny Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent - they responded to all of our questions quickly and were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, the onsite ceremony coordinator ensured the ceremony ran smoothly, and the reception team worked seamlessly with the ceremony team to make the entire day flow effortlessly. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff provided top-notch service to us and all of our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend Cantigny Park to any couple looking for a stunning, well-organized wedding venue.

Cantigny does not offer a dedicated Day-of Coordinator; however, we provide several services throughout the day that support the duties typically managed by a Day-of Coordinator. A Ceremony Coordinator will be on hand to assist with the setup of décor in both the ceremony and reception venues. If you have a ceremony at Cantigny, the Ceremony Coordinator will also oversee the rehearsal and offer assistance with the coordination of the ceremony itself.

At Cantigny, we always hope for beautiful weather on your special day. However, our team is fully prepared for any unforeseen circumstances and has a comprehensive plan in place for inclement weather. If both your ceremony and reception are held at Cantigny, we offer a backup ceremony location based on your chosen reception venue. Our dedicated ceremony team will remain in constant communication with you throughout the day, particularly if weather conditions become unfavorable. A final decision regarding the ceremony location will be made two hours before the scheduled start, allowing our team sufficient time to set up for your ceremony!

A photo pass is included in your wedding package! This pass will be issued to you when you drop off your decor, usually the day before your wedding. Kindly ensure that your photographer has the pass visibly displayed while taking photos throughout the park. This will help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, allowing for gorgeous wedding photos throughout Cantigny Park while complying with our photography guidelines.

Cantigny does not provide golf carts for any guests/bridal party to travel throughout the park. Given that Cantigny is a public park, we are unable to permit guests to drive through our gardens on golf carts. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all park guests. However, we want to ensure that everyone can easily access your ceremony site. If there are guests who may face challenges in walking to the ceremony site from the parking lot, we are more than happy to provide assistance for them. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a secure environment for everyone.

If you have a ceremony at Cantigny Park, and a reception at Cantigny Golf (Red Oak Room or Woodside Pavilion), please note that the Park and Golf sides of the property are a 5-minute drive from one another. While the distance is not walkable, it's essential to be aware that Cantigny does not provide transportation between these two locations. If your ceremony is at Cantigny Park and the reception is at Cantigny Golf, you are welcome to hire your own transportation service to facilitate the commute between the two venues.

Unfortunately, the Woodside Pavilion does not have access to Wi-Fi, as it is a semi-permanent structure. However, the venue does have excellent cell phone service, so we do recommend using a hot spot if you or a vendor needs access to wi-fi throughout your reception.

Sparklers are absolutely allowed in our outdoor spaces. They not only add a touch of magic to the atmosphere but also create fantastic photo opportunities. We just ask that you bring in sand buckets to put out the sparklers.

Couples who have selected the Prestige Package receive a complimentary foursome at our beautiful golf course, which can be redeemed within a year of your wedding. Our dedicated wedding staff will place your certificate in your card box the day of your wedding. If you would like to use your certificate before your wedding, please let your Catering Sales Manager know. Please note, our golf certificates can only be redeemed during non-peak times: all day Monday through Thursday, and Saturdays/Sundays after 1:00pm. The certificate cannot be used on Fridays or Holidays.

Yes, your wedding cake is included in all of our packages!

A member of our staff will assist with the décor setup, including simple décor setup, such as gift/guest book table, place cards, and centerpieces. If you are providing your own centerpieces, we do ask that the centerpieces come ready to be placed on the table. There are some limitations to what we can assist with. If you plan on having floating candles, they will need to be set by a friend or family member. Items that need to be assembled, such as DIY photobooths, we ask that a friend or family member take care of that piece.

Cantigny has two beautiful cottages located on the North-Side of Cantigny Park which are available for couples to get ready in the day of their wedding. The Cottages are available for rental for $100/hour for a minimum of four hours. Please reach out to your Catering Sales Manager if you are interested in reserving a Cottage or looking for more information. In order to ensure that every group has a chance to reserve a cottage for their big day, we initially only allow one cottage per couple. As we get closer to your big day, we are happy to rent out the second cottage to one group, if it is still available.
