About this venue

Buss Farms is a working cattle farm situated on 50 acres just outside of Columbus, OH. Our Venue provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions with endless options to make your special day unique! We are close enough to the city that there are several hotels just a few miles away, yet far enough into the country to enjoy the privacy of being surrounded by nothing but trees, cornfields, and wildflowers. Our Venue features a beautifully outfitted 1902 modern farmhouse that is home to the bridal suite and grooms room. Most receptions take place in the main barn, a late 1800's historic structure. Attached to the main barn is the "White Room" which features and indoor/outdoor bar with exquisite views.

    From the moment we visited Buss Farms, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning and everything we wanted. What truly makes it special are the owners, Stephanie and Matt. They are the kindest people we’ve ever met and made us feel like family from the very beginning. You can truly feel how much they love and care for each of their couples. One of the most memorable moments of our day was having Stephanie and Matt stand with me and open the barn doors into the ceremony. It was such a meaningful and emotional moment that I’ll never forget. Their presence throughout the day made everything feel so personal and heartfelt. It’s also amazing to see their kids around the farm, helping and being part of it all—it really adds to the family-run feel and makes the whole experience so warm and genuine. They can be as involved or not as involved as you'd like, but their love and care are always there. Stephanie helped me immensely when it came to planning and providing resources for different companies. Stephanie and Matt made the planning process smooth and stress-free. They were responsive, supportive, and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Buss Farms isn’t just a beautiful venue—it’s a place filled with heart and so much faith. We’re so thankful we chose them on our big day!

    Buss Farms is the best hidden gem wedding venue near Columbus. My (now) husband and I had searched for quite a few venues and just never got that perfect “feeling” that I wanted about any of them. Every place had some negatives that I couldn’t quite get past. Then, my husband found Buss Farms and we booked a tour. We immediately loved the owners, Matt and Stephanie! They were just the sweetest and made us feel so comfortable and excited about envisioning our wedding there! They just made it so personal for us! The venue itself is stunning! We barely needed any decor because the venue itself is so beautiful! It was perfect size for our wedding and I loved having separate spaces for dinner seating and cocktail hour stuff. The views from where the ceremony is held outside are the most perfect backdrop for any photos! THE PINE TREES though. When Matt and Stephanie were showing us the venue, they showed us the mini pine tree forest and that sealed the deal for me! It is absolutely breathtaking for sunset photos (or any photos really). Matt and Stephanie were the warmest people and so easy to work with. They have great experience and ideas. They make you feel like you’re part of their family. Our wedding was everything we wanted and more!
