  • Flawless Wedding Day Thanks to Jamie

    My husband and I had the most amazing experience working with Jamie. We only had a 3 month engagement, so it was crunch time pretty much the entire time we were planning. We hired Jamie 2 months prior to the wedding, and she made everything so stress free. Anything we asked of her, she was more than happy to do, and if she didn’t have the answer right away, she would find out and get back to us in a very timely manner. I did all the decorating myself, and Jamie had some great ideas to help me execute my day. While she kept things professional, she also felt like a friend. Her kind spirit and go getter attitude was so great to have on the day of our wedding. She handled EVERYTHING the day of the wedding and everything ran so smoothly. Everything that needed to be done the day of was in the perfect spot just where I asked her to put things, and she ran the event flawlessly. She was in contact with all my vendors and she worked out all the details with them so I wouldn’t have to which was the biggest help. My husband and I did not know what to expect going into planning, but Jamie and her team exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for someone to help you plan your wedding, I would say stop looking you have found your girl. Jamie’s assistant was also amazing and just as pleasant. I highly recommend working with Jamie and her team, and I would 100% hire her again for another event. Best experience

    To say Jamie is incredible is an understatement. Having Jamie as our wedding coordinator allowed us to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. She worked with us prior to the date to ensure all our i’s were dotted and our t’s were crossed, eased our stress and made the most perfect event timeline. I can’t imagine our wedding without her help, guidance and expertise. Even our vendors couldn’t stop complimenting her professionalism, organization and kindness! If you are looking for a wedding planner and coordinator, look no further! I would recommend Jamie to everyone.

    We had the absolute best experience with Jamie as our day-of wedding coordinator! From the very first meeting, she helped us stay organized and gave us the confidence that everything would run smoothly. On the wedding day itself, things didn’t exactly go as planned, it ended up pouring during our outdoor ceremony (we’re talking over an inch of rain in just half an hour!) moving everything under the tent. Even in the middle of all that chaos, Jamie and her team handled it with such calm professionalism. She was literally soaking wet from walking us and the bridal party to under the tent for the ceremony. Her team also did a fantastic job with the styling and décor. We had a few last-minute changes, but everything still came together beautifully. Since our wedding was at our home (not a traditional venue), I know it made her job more challenging, but you would have never known. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Jamie and her team. They made our day perfect, even under very imperfect weather conditions. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and willing to go above and beyond, I would 100% recommend Louisa Co. Events.

    We are so glad that we hired Jamie to be our day of coordinator and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to be stress free on their wedding day. We had previously hired a different DOC who had to drop out due to personal health problems. Jamie came recommended to us through our florist who had worked with her before. From our first meeting with Jamie, she instilled a confidence in us that we had never felt with our previous hire. She is a great communicator and clearly laid out what responsibilities she would be taking on. She had a series of meetings with us leading up to the wedding, handled vendor communication in the final week before the event, and put together a timeline based on our preferences and vendor preferences. We also hired her to do the styling for our tables which turned out exactly the way we had envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Jamie and her team took care of executing the timeline and ensured the set up was done to our specifications. We had a small snafu where I had forgotten to get pens for the guestbook and she took care of it for us. I am sure there were other areas where the event did not go according to plan, but Jamie and her team took care of them all. My husband and I both agree that we had a perfect wedding!
