Sarah, our lead planner, has been hosting and planning events since 2012. What started as intimate events with family and friends, has expanded to hosting private events for up to 200 guest. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in African American History in 2016. She also received her Master of Urban Education-School Counseling, K-12 in 2020. She is able to offer expert guidance on what venues and vendors will work best for your specific wedding, based on your specific vision, design, budget, guest count, and overall priorities for your wedding day. Our lead planner is also a certified civil celebrant in Virginia.
She is known for her ability to balance managing a large social, Women’s Empowerment Group and her career as a Professional School Counselor. We are open to working with couples from all backgrounds. No event is too unorthodox!

| Description | This package is for the client who is at the very beginning of the planning process We will assist in choosing venues, managing budget, arranging event services and monitoring client approval. It also includes set up, breakdown of your fabulous event, itinerary, floor plan, rehearsal and day of implementation which could include additional staff and additional services. | Making sure the event is executed seamlessly. Lifesaver !
Sarah coordinated my wedding in Cancun and I want to thank her sooooo much! I'm an accountant and I own several businesses, so there were so many times Sarah had to stay on me to get stuff done. She stayed on top of deadlines, she made sure everyone had their room and flight booked, made sure everyone had transportation, worked hand in hand with my photographer and the wedding specialist at the resort. From the start of initial planning to the end of the reception, she literally ripped and ran to get stuff done!! She had the line-up in tact, the songs on point, she even went so far to make sure my dress was perfect for pictures that she FELL OFF THE PLATFORM and plunged into the pool!! NOW THATS DEDICATION!! Thanks so much Sarah. I am so thankful and don't know how I could've pulled this off without you. Thanks for not letting up on the resort and making sure my wedding turned out perfect !

I Got A Love Jones Events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. Their communication style was exquisite, genuine, authentic, loving and caring from the very beginning. The quality of their work and the value they provided was pure, timely, and simply amazing. Sarah was hired just 3 weeks prior to our wedding day, and I honestly don't know what we would've done without her assistance. The day went so smoothly, and no one knew about any of the minor mishaps that took place throughout the week. Sarah and her team went above and beyond from start to finish, and I couldn't be more proud. My father even said "This is the best wedding ever!" Sarah truly made our experience so peaceful and alleviated any pressure before it was even felt by my husband and I. Working with the team at I Got A Love Jones Events was an absolute pleasure. While I communicated with Sarah anytime of day she was there and ready with a reply! She took everything in no matter how much I was confused and nervous throughout the process because of course this is a once in a lifetime experience. She took everything I said and made it beautiful! I sent her a super long poem to read for the ceremony and the delivery of it was everything I ever would want on our very special day. In all, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to unite our union.
