The Unsung Hero of the Wedding
Hiring Samy as our day-of coordinator was hands down one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. We truly don’t know how the day would have gone without her—and honestly, we don’t want to imagine it! From the moment Sammy stepped in, everything just felt organized, and under control. Sammy handled every little detail with grace and precision—keeping our timeline on track, managing vendors, solving last-minute hiccups, and making sure we could be fully present to enjoy every moment. Sammy were always one step ahead—fluffing my dress before I walked down the aisle, making sure we had a drink in our hand at all times, coordinating transitions smoothly, and somehow managing to be everywhere at once without ever being intrusive. She also had amazing staff that assisted and we felt at ease knowing we were in good hands. What we appreciated most was Sammy’s professionalism and attention to details. She helped us from the very beginning of the planning process and made sure to have everything planned a few weeks before the wedding. I also greatly appreciate that she advocated for us, especially working in a space that was a brand-new venue. Sammy knew what to ask for and made sure we had everything we needed so when we started to asked questions, she already had answers for us. She was extremely proactive in coordinating with all of our vendors, as well! Because of Sammy, we were able to fully relax and soak in every joyful moment of our wedding day without stressing over logistics or wondering if things were getting done—they were, and perfectly so. I am so grateful I found Ackin Events at a wedding expo early in my engagement! We used Ackin’s Wedding Management, Officiating, and Rental services for our wedding day. I am very Type-A, so I got along great with Sammy right off the bat! I tend to like being in control, so I knew I wanted to do the planning for our day myself, but needed someone I could trust to execute my vision - and Ackin Events made it happen! We began monthly planning meetings 4 months in advance, so I felt confident that Sammy truly understood my vision and was well prepared to take the lead on our day. She was also a helpful resource for any questions I had along the way, or when I needed input on a decision one way or another based on her extensive wedding management experience. This all truly allowed my husband and I to be in the moment and soak in our day! Sammy officiated for us and was receptive to any requests we had for our non-traditional ceremony so we could tailor it to fit our relationship. Ackin’s rental catalog is extensive, so it was easy to rely on them for any of the items I didn’t purchase myself. I could go on and on… you can rest assured that booking with Ackin Events means you will have a magical wedding day!

Leading up to the big day I had several great meeting with Ackin Events to help prepare me and make sure we were on the same page. It really took a lot of weight off my shoulders knowing I could work with a professional on timeline, decor and so much more! The day-of ran smoothly and was GORGEOUS thanks to Sammy and her team. They put in so much work to make sure every detail was perfect. I know that Sammy truly cared about me as a person and wanted to ensure the best day for my partner and I!
