Why, hello there. I'm the creative behind the lens. I am a Canadian who pursued his true love, got married and found himself in the United States. It turns out, it can take some time to receive permanent residency, which led me to pick up a camera and fall in love with the art.

For me, photography is about connecting with people and capturing them in ways they’ve never seen themselves. Sometimes, when it comes to being in front of the lens, people have no idea how to simply “be” and I find that journey a beautiful thing. It’s my passion to guide you through that and to truly capture your authenticity behind your smile. And so, I think it is an incredible hono(u)r getting to work with people who just want to celebrate life, those who are completely in love and partners who are unapologetically themselves. We couldn’t be more thankful for Zhaun as our wedding photographer. From start to finish, he met and exceeded our expectations. His editing style is immediately what caught our attention - cinematic yet organic; emotional without feeling overly staged, and beautifully true to life. Zhaun also shot our engagement session at two separate locations in Beacon Hill and Tatte, and the photos felt effortlessly authentic - like a true reflection of us, but slightly elevated in the best way. He made us feel comfortable the entire time, and coached us with instructions that didn’t make anything feel posed or unnatural. On our wedding day, he was so much more than just a photographer - he was easily the best vendor we worked with. He brought a calm, confident presence and honestly felt like a second wedding coordinator. He kept things flowing smoothly, without ever feeling intrusive. Zhaun was direct, yet incredibly personable with our guests. The kids absolutely loved his silly faces while shouting out “monkey!” and “turkey!” to capture their genuine smiles, and he even hugged the groom after shooting an emotional first touch. This isn’t just a job to him - you can tell he is emotionally present and genuinely cares about our wellbeing and experience, reminding us both to stay grounded in the moment on numerous occasions. Lastly, to top it off, Zhaun delivered our full gallery over a month faster than promised - without sacrificing an ounce of his usual quality. The turnaround time, especially at his level of artistry, blew our minds! We wholeheartedly recommend Zhaun to anyone looking for more than just photos, but rather an investment into memories that will be cherished for years and years to come. I don't even know where to start regarding Zhaun!! From our engagement photos all the way to our wedding day, he was so remarkably supportive, reassuring, & honestly invaluable the entire process. My husband & I always joke that we're remarkably unphotogenic & can be awkward in front of the camera-- but all of that really washed away with Zhaun. I know you've all seen the more cheesy or uber serious photographers, & Zhaun truly met us where we were & was able to create such a wonderfully laid back vibe. His photos obviously speak for themselves & it goes without saying, but holy MOLY is he talented!!! I made a pinterest page with different 'inspo,' wanting our photos of the big day to capture a lot of the joy in the little interactions with not only us, but all of our guests & boy did Zhaun deliver & then some!! We cannot thank him enough for all he's done for us!! You're the best!!! xx K&J

12/ 10 would recommend!! Zhaun was absolutely amazing!! He made us feel so comfortable from engagement photos through our wedding day and the photos he captured are stunning. He is such a gem of a person who is a true professional in his field. If we got married again, I would be conflicted whether to invite him or book him because of how wonderful he is and his skills behind the lens.

Zhaun is absolutely fantastic. He's professional, easygoing, and SO SO talented. We couldn't be happier with how our engagement and wedding shots turned out. We highly highly HIGHLY recommend, especially if you want to be left speechless by your photos!
