Vincent Po Photography

Oklahoma raised, Princeton educated, and founder of Portrait of a Young Couple, documenting how couples of all backgrounds and identities across the world live and love. I'd love to be a part of helping to capture you and your partner's love.

I've photographed couples from all different backgrounds and circumstances (check out my portfolio to see for yourself!) so no matter your beliefs and identities, or how unique you and your partner's love is, I'm committed to making you feel confident, seen, and accepted anytime we speak or work together. I studied Electrical Engineering at Princeton before becoming a photographer, and bring the methodical attention to detail I learned there to every aspect of my creative work.

    Vincent was such a positive and calming presence during our wedding planning and weekend! He helped direct us and others for group photos whenever we weren't sure how to pose, while also blending in seamlessly during the ceremony and other moments where we wanted to be fully present with our guests; he was really adaptable to whatever the situation called for. He did an amazing job of capturing the joy felt that weekend, and he was so friendly to chat and have fun with throughout the entire process. He was able to get previews to us within a day and the full gallery out in an incredibly fast turnaround time. Everyone was amazed by the photos and consistently praised his work; he really brought our vision to life and we're so grateful that we hired him.

    We worked with Vincent for our wedding in February of 2021. We scheduled our wedding with him several months beforehand. Leading up to the day, he had checked in several times to see how our plans had been coming, evolving, and what our expectations were the day of. He is incredibly personable, professional, and talented. We didn't ask for a lot of specific shots and the few we did ask for came out way better than we could have possibly imagined. Vincent took beautiful photos of us, our family, and our friends. For our camera-shy friends, he kept laughing with us, creating an atmosphere of joy and stress-free photography! He was quick to ensure that all of us being photographed were comfortable. Since our wedding, we have recommended him to literally every person who lets us know that they're engaged.     I met Vincent last year as he was a photographer at a wedding and I was the videographer. We instantly connected as he is the kindest, and most genuine person. He is filled with so much joy and happiness, and he truly made the day wonderful just with his presence. His business, Portrait of a Young Couple is truly inspiring and it tells you how great Vincent is as he captures these weddings free of charge in return for your story. I learned all about his business the day I worked with him, and he is so passionate and truly loves what he does. After the wedding, I was able to see the photos that Vincent took, and not only was he great to work with but his photos are amazing too. We do live in different states, but I hope someday our paths cross again and that I work with him again as he makes working in the wedding industry better.
