Wedding Photographer

Making personal connection with you is important to me. I believe in serving couples from every background and the more I learn about you the better I can serve you as your wedding photographer. I currently reside in DC but have also living in LA, The Bay Area, and Morocco.

As a former photojournalist, I know when to look for key moments and how to get the shot on your wedding day. My editing style allows for the full color of the scenery to speak for itself, preserving authentic and joyful moments.

    We LOVED working with Stefan for both our engagement photos and our wedding. He's such a talented photographer and always made us feel so natural and comfortable. He was also great about keeping us on schedule corralling family on our wedding day. Stefan brought in Cannie Captures as a second photographer for our wedding day and they worked so well together to capture every moment of our day. On top of that, Stefan is really fun and personable and a joy to work with. I would 10000% recommend him to anyone!

    If I could give Stefan ten stars, I would. Working with him was an incredible experience from start to finish. He did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and for the former he traveled to New York so we could do the shoot at a location that has a great deal of meaning to us. My husband and I are not people who are usually comfortable in front of a camera, but Stefan goes above and beyond to make sure he is prepared and that you are prepared to have the best shoot possible. He has detailed guides for both engagement and wedding shoots, which were incredibly helpful. He also meets with you to discuss your goals for the shoot, get to know who you are as a couple, and understand the vibe you are going for. Our engagement shoot was on a cold and windy day in a location unfamiliar to him and he did research, arrived early, and knocked it out of the park. For our wedding day, the timeline went exactly to plan and any stress or nerves I was feeling completely melted away because we already knew Stefan was on top of it, knew what we wanted from the day, and that we had a rapport going between us. On our wedding day, our friends and family absolutely gushed about Stefan and how great he is. I can't tell you how many times someone came up to me and said, "Who is your photographer? He is AWESOME." Stefan's style is authentic and he is incredibly skilled. The photos are breathtaking without seeming unnatural or overworked. He is great at capturing your vibe as a couple and making sure that comes through in the photos. He is so easy to get along with and can make even the least photogenic among us (pointing at myself here) comfortable in front of the camera. He is a great photographer and an even more delightful human being and I would recommend him to absolutely anyone.

    When we decided to get married 3.5 weeks out we weren't sure we could find a photographer - or one that would truly capture what we wanted (we had an unusual request getting married in our home under construction). Stefan was incredibly easy to work with, gave us helpful guides and things to consider, was so flexible with our needs - and the preview photos we have seen are beautiful beyond our expectations. We look forward to having a long relationship with Stefan to capture important moments in our life and would highly recommend him.
