What's it like having you as our wedding photographer?

From the first email til the last image delivered, you have me 100%. I’m the one that edits, that emails, and I don’t take more than a few weddings a month so I can always give the type of experience my couples deserve. I prefer real moments to things super cheesy and I love a vibe that makes you want to slow down and drink it in. I love helping you feel your best self on your wedding day. I’m outgoing and suuuuper weird. So you don't have a chance to feel awkward or unsure of what to do. I'll guide you thru poses and movements, so a short time with me and you’ll feel like an old pro. Seriously, so worries - I got'choo!

Question 2

It's my first time getting married, do you help with timeline planning?

ABSOLUTELY! Basically, I like to become your next best friend for the entire timeframe between booking + your wedding day. We chat LOTS about your day and plan all the things. But it's also your wedding day and NOT a photoshoot. So I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch, you're relaxed and enjoying the day and you forget we're actually taking photos. Bonus points if you've got a planner/coordinator/ We'll partner up and make sure everything you WANT to happen actually can happen, and you've got plenty of time to relax and actually enjoy yourselves, too.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

I do!! I love to travel and would LOVE to go with you somewhere incredible for your wedding!! Travel fees are entirely dependent on where I'm going and how far in advance I can book accommodations. Don't worry though, it's not as much as you think it's going to be. For most of the continental US, it's going to be around $250. If we're going to Hawai'i or somewhere fun out of the country, let's FOR SURE chat. I have a list of destinations I'd love to visit for just my travel fees! You read that right. I'd shoot your event for free. Just pay my travel fees. Sounds amazing, right?

What kind of gear do you use?

I'm a firm believer that the gear doesn't make the photographer - it's entirely how you use the tools you have. But, I'm a Canon photographer and I have 2 main cameras with me on your wedding day - both of my babies are Canon R6's, and I pack several lenses I use throughout the day and I've also collected things over the years to add creativity into your images - like prisms, crystals, LED lights. For your detail photos, I use a macro lens to capture those up close little details. And I'll have ring boxes (in your colors) and other things to add that "little something" to your flat lays and ring shots to help make them POP!

When can I expect my finished gallery?

I know how anxious everyone is to see your wedding gallery, so I like to get a bunch of previews done for you within the first week for you to share with family and friends right away. For your full gallery, it takes about 2-3 months during 'non-peak season" (Nov - May), and about 3-4 months during "peak season" (May - Nov). Photography is not my full-time job(at least not yet), so I sometimes need a little longer for editing - Which is why I give you a LOT of previews. For your sneak peeks and your final gallery, you’ll get a link to the gallery to view, download and share with your family friends, and social media.

Question 6

Will YOU be the one photographing my wedding?

You'd be surprised how often this question comes up - Absolutely you have me!!! Assuming there are no 'acts of God' or dire last minute medical emergencies you will 100% have ME on your wedding day.
