Hello friends! I've recently moved to Chicago from Indy and I'm so ready to explore this new city together while capturing your memories. I founded Steady Hand Photography in 2019 after graduating high school, and hating college. I have a lot of different sessions under my belt, but weddings and engagements are what I'm most passionate and excited about. I hope to capture your day even better than you imagined!

I love to go with the flow and embrace whatever obstacles come our way during your photoshoot, or wedding day. My main goal is to make sure everyone is safe, comfortable and has a good time! I'm always down for new ideas and expressing whatever makes you and your partner special.

Engagement Session

Peak pricing $137-275

Description

1 hour coverage at a location of choice with creative and directional posing & prompts. If an engagement session and wedding are booked at the same time, there will be a 50% discount added to the engagement session ($137.50). Engagement photos only is $275.

Description

For average size weddings. Hour coverage depends on how much of the day you want documented. This package includes end of getting ready/staged getting ready photos, detail shots, bridal party, bride & groom, ceremony, family photos, and reception (can include special exit if reception isn't long).

    We had a wonderful experience with Leah for our family session! She was very communicative throughout the scheduling/venue selection process and during the session! We ended up with a TON of awesome photos to choose from, it was actually hard to pick favorites. The session and photos were everything we could have asked for and more! I would absolutely recommend Leah if you’re looking for a photographer!

    Leah came to our rescue when our photographer scammed us not only was she completely understanding of our situation, but she was so eager to help us in order to make our day special! Our wedding is in October, but she took our engagement pictures and they were beyond our expectations. Her work is absolutely incredible and she is extremely talented. I would highly recommend choosing her to take your photos.

    Steady Hand Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very first conversation, Leah's communication style was easy, smooth, fun, and loving. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of her work and value was nothing short of perfect - clean, timely, and truly professional. Leah captured so many sweet, special moments with my parents, friends, and family. She was incredibly flexible with our schedule and however we decided to spend our time. We even had extra time for more couple and family photos than we had originally planned and she was on board! Leah is so sweet, like a friend, and it was very easy to be comfortable with her. As someone who can be a bit awkward in front of the camera, she made my engagement and wedding sessions feel smooth and easy. We are over the moon with our wedding photos and cannot recommend Steady Hand Photography enough!

    Leah is fantastic to work with! We took engagement photos with her and that was probably the first time my fiance and I both LOVED the way we looked in pictures. She generated so many ways for us to “pose” so it was comfortable and felt natural. We’re so excited to have her photograph our wedding next!
