Hi, I'm Abby Bontrager! Congratulations on your engagement! I have been doing bridal makeup for over 16 years in Portage, MI and I own The Beauty Lounge By Abby! I absolutely love making a bride and her party feel special, beautiful and confident on her wedding day!

If you need tips on getting your skin, brows, and hair ready for the big day, I got you. I thrive off organization and would be happy to also help you with an itinerary to take some of that stress away. I work in my own salon Mon-Fri and provide services for hair color/blonding, women's cuts, custom treatments, clip in and tape extensions, as well as blowouts to get you all ready! I'm certified in airbrush makeup but also do traditional makeup looks as well.

    Abby was absolutely phenomenal! I had a larger bridal party and Abby was able to do myself and 6 bridesmaids. She was efficient and professional, and her sweet personality made getting ready so much fun! She arrived ready to go at our scheduled time and ran ahead of schedule the whole day, which did so much for my wedding nerves! My girls and I went for traditional makeup and had looks from natural to soft glam. Abby uses high quality products and even gave each of the girls a touch up kit for the evening! We received so many compliments on our makeup, and I truly felt like my best self during the entire day. I would recommend Abby to anyone looking for an amazing MUA!

    I cannot recommend Abby enough!! She did such a spectacular job with my wedding hair. I am beyond thrilled with how it turned out. She was so patient with me as I constantly asked questions throughout the wedding process. She was great at communication, organized, prepared, and helpful. She even sent getting ready tips for my bridal party! She goes above and beyond and is such an asset. I know nothing about hair or makeup and she walked me through every step of the process with kindness and patience. She helped me improve my hair’s health before the wedding and walked me through the hair extension process so I could have the wedding hair of my dreams. I’m so grateful to have had Abby as a part of my big day and cannot thank her enough for everything she did!

    Abby did the makeup for our moms (traditional makeup) and two of my bridesmaids (airbrush) on my wedding day and she did such an amazing job! She was super kind and responsive and a joy to work with leading up to and on wedding day. Very happy we went with her!
