Natalie is a Taiwanese-American artist inspired by warmth & connection, reminiscent of her upbringing in Hawai'i. She graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Photography while working alongside fashion designers & directors on editorial and campaign productions. For over a decade, Natalie has directed her lens towards weddings, finding a meaningful depth in the relationships that she develops with her subjects and the cultural & physical environments that surround them. Her background in fashion marries a tender, documentarian perspective to provide refined imagery with an editorial edge without compromising the truth of what happened.

My approach is human before anything else — entering with gentleness, exchanging assumptions for curiosity, observing with eagerness as everything unfolds. Making connections & garnering relationships with my clients beyond the frame is an integral part of the process that allows me to provide an honest perspective of your experiences and reflect the essence of who you are. I believe that a photographer participates in the wedding as much as anyone, and the imagery should embody how it felt to be present. Cannot recommend Natalie enough! Leading up to our wedding, she was a pleasure to work and so helpful and professional in planning the shots and timing of our day. On the day of, she was a pro navigating to different homes for getting ready shots, our ceremony venue, and a different reception venue. She is so kind, disarming, and efficient - making photos a more comfortable experience and offering suggestions for postures when needed. Getting our photos back is pure joy. We are floored by her amazing shots and beautiful edits. She is so talented with impressive intuition. Our photos are everything we wanted and more. Working with Natalie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the beginning, she was communicative and helpful, and she had fantastic recommendations for photo locations and how to make the most our of our day. We'd never had our photos professionally taken, but she made everything feel so natural and comfortable. Natalie's photos are warm and intimate and artistic, and they capture exactly what it felt like when we got married. Her eye for color and stellar creative vision made (seemingly) ordinary spaces and moments look gorgeous. We had admired her work for a long time. We were so happy to see our elopement through her lens with the signature warmth and artistry we have always loved in her work. We will always treasure the beautiful portraits she took of us that make us look our best. But even more, we love the sweet in-between moments she captured of us being ourselves. Those are some of the most special, cherished memories we want to hold on to and we are so grateful she caught them on camera. Natalie is an incredibly sweet, lovely person. We had a great time getting to know her, and spending the afternoon with her felt like hanging out with a good friend. Natalie was our amazing wedding photographer that totally captured our day in vibrant and stunning photos. We picked her after browsing dozens of photographers and being really drawn to her style. She clearly has a talent and an eye for composition and capturing color and lighting. After a quick zoom meet, we confirmed that her vibe was the right fit for us. She's personable, fun, and takes time to get to know you and understand what's important to you to capture on the day of. I really appreciated that she remembers things like my family members or best friend's names :) During the event, she was so professional and organized -- my favorite part was how she would provide subtle but expert suggestions on how to adjust, for ex. having a guest put his hand in his jacket pocket, etc. She understands the details that really matter to have the best outcomes that are both photo-worthy but natural! We had a small wedding of 50 guests in an intimate space, she blended right in with the guests and was able to get a more intimate and personal perspective of the event. Our couples photos also turned out great despite both my partner and I feeling very camera shy. I'd gladly hire her again for any photos I need again in the future!
