My name is Marisa, and because I'm almost positive you just read that as Marissa, I'll go ahead and say its Marie-sa. It's fine, it happens all the time haha. Born and raised in Michigan, and I secretly love it. As cliche as it may sound, I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful babes. I photograph mostly lifestyle sessions and weddings in the metro detroit and surrounding areas. I'm passionate about capturing the raw beauty of life and love through photography. Everyone's story is different and I am so here for it. Let me capture your story for you, or even better, lets be friends. I friggin mean it.

I adore my job, to the point I don’t even like to call it a job. I am blessed to do this and I don’t take that for granted. I am your best hype woman and I’m here to be not only your photographer but help with anything else, I’m kind of an expert at bustling a wedding gown haha!

Honestly, I will NEVER stop telling everyone that needs a photographer to hire Marisa. She honestly felt like a friend photographing our wedding, but obviously a talented professional friend hah! It was seriously a breeze to chat with her and the gallery?!? STUNNING!!! Literally obsessed with them. Can’t thank her enough for everything she’s done and can’t wait for future milestones with her.

From the moment we booked MacLachlan Studio for our wedding, the communication was fast, friendly, and easy. Marisa was a true professional, but also felt like a friend who was there to help make our special day even more perfect. She was always willing to lend a hand, like when she helped me bustle my dress, and was our biggest hype girl throughout the day. The gallery was absolutely gorgeous!! she has such a talented eye for detail and really brought the beauty and joy of our wedding to life in the most stunning way. Marisa was so wonderful to work with! She was upbeat, funny, and so accommodating. She was able to capture our day so perfectly, and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Not to mention she did the most amazing engagement photos for us as well! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
