We are a group of photographers with over decades of experience collectively in both the creative and managerial side of the wedding industry. Our core beliefs are centered around providing a white glove experience for our clients and their guests. This is more than just “another party” it’s your legacy that we’re documenting for your family. We are very selective with the couples we serve as to ensure we can provide all of our couples with the highest level of care. It starts with a short convo. As a wedding planner and coordinator, there is nothing more valuable than a GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER! I have had the pleasure of working alongside Johnny for many weddings and even in front of the camera and each time, he has not only produced EXCELLENT galleries, but is easy to work with and makes the day so stress-free for the couples. I have witnessed personally his constant pursuit of excellence on all fronts. I simply could not recommend John Shaw Photography more!

Johnny went above and beyond our expectations! From the beginning stages before we had officially booked with him all the way through post wedding- he was super friendly, communicative, and personable. Johnny made my husband and I feel immediately comfortable with him and in front of the camera... he truly has felt like more of a friend than just a wedding vendor. We loved him so much we've suggested him to anyone we know who needs a photographer. You truly will not regret booking him!

He has a true eye for capturing a moment. His attention to detail is exactly what I was looking for. He has a real talent and ability to capture his subjects and highlight the surroundings of the moment all at the same time. I think John is amazing at what he does, and it was a total pleasure working with him for my engagement shoot and on my wedding day. His works speaks for itself. Can’t say enough good things about John as a human and professionally. You won’t regret it!

As someone who is about as photogenic as Quasimodo, I wasn't sure how a photographer would capture me and my wife on our special day. I think the wedding coordinator was the one that suggested him, but I'm glad she did. We met with Johnny for lunch as he wanted to meet us and understand what we were envisioning. My wife had been planning this wedding since childhood and although I had no idea what that meant, Johnny did. Within minutes both of them were discussing this dream wedding. I honestly had no idea what to expect before this meeting, but after the meeting I felt like I knew the timetable, the line up, everything. We were all reading from the same book. Before the wedding we had engagement photos and we jostled and hustled around Lancaster City finding the best spots, and trying to capture the light in different ways. I have so many favorites from this photoshoot that adorn my desk at work. Even me, the Quasimodo look-a-like looked snazzy and suave with my bride-to-be. On the wedding day, I already knew the plan, and even then whenever an opportunity arose, Johnny seized that moment. There's a beautiful shot of my wife and I on this hill that serves as my computer background and I cannot but help stare at it. Weddings are fancy affairs, and in a short time you realize that you won't be able to experience it all. Our wedding was rather large, so being able to spend time with every guest was nearly impossible. However, Johnny and his collaborator were able to be omnipresent, and capture memories I was only able to see after the fact. For such an important day, it's over too soon, and now I really rely on the story told in photos to relive it. My wife and I very impressed with Johnny's work, and even after the wedding, we have booked an additional photoshoot some time later. Those photos became Christmas cards, and some even are in my office at work. Johnny sees memories in the making and helps capture them. When the lights dim, the music stops, the newly weds are off, these photos are what you will use to re-experience that day. Thanks Johnny!
