I'm Jarrod. I'm a wedding photographer based in the US. Originally from Florida and now traveling full-time in a Sprinter van shooting love stories. ​I like to describe my approach to wedding photography as documentary with an editorial flare. About 80% of the day I am capturing your day as it naturally unfolds in a beautiful way. The other 20% I love to prompt you or direct you to create romantic images that have intention and FEELING. Sometimes portraits will feel romantic and editorial and other times they will feel playful and fun. It fully depends on your personal relationship. I love to tell your story as authentically as I can.

    We are absolutely blown away by the wedding album Jarrod and Taylor created for us—every photo is more beautiful than the last. Their work didn’t just capture the details and emotions of our day, but truly the heart and soul of it all. We feel incredibly grateful to have had them as our photographers. From our very first meeting with Jarrod at the park for our engagement shoot, we instantly felt like we were hanging out with old friends—and that feeling only grew stronger throughout the process. By the time our wedding day arrived, they didn’t feel like vendors at all; they felt like cherished friends and part of the celebration. Taylor was incredible throughout the entire day—so attentive, kind, and supportive that many guests remarked she was basically my bridal attendant. Her warm, joyful, and calming energy helped us stay relaxed and fully present during the whole experience, and that made all the difference. Jarrod and Taylor were the first vendors we booked—less than a week after we got engaged—and it was absolutely the best decision we made. They’ve given us stunning memories to treasure forever. Now we’re faced with the wonderful challenge of choosing which photos to print and frame—there are so many amazing shots! We will cherish these photos for a lifetime and will always be cheering for Jarrod and Taylor and The Narrative Weddings. If you want photographers who capture not just images but the genuine story and spirit of your day, you can’t go wrong with Jarrod and Taylor.

    Jarrod and his wife, Taylor, are truly a dream to work with! My husband and I really wanted some simple engagement photos taken, but were reluctant because we’re not totally comfortable in front of the camera and didn’t want the poses/photos to look cheesy. Taylor gave us plenty of suggestions to pose us naturally and kept us laughing which put us at ease immediately. Jarrod was such a professional and really worked every angle and background to make it look like we spent an entire day shooting. The editing was super crisp and clean and the photos came back incredibly quickly. They far exceeded our expectations and we can’t thank them enough for giving us beautiful, lasting memories from such an important time in our lives. This couple is seriously amazing - genuine, fun, and experts at what they do!! Book them!

    Jarrod did an amazing job on our wedding day! We were so very grateful to have him there with us. He was absolutely amazing and did a great job collaborating with our other vendors and coordinating logistics and timing of what we wanted to have done. We were so happy that we got videography done for our big day- feels like we’re reliving it each time we watch it! Highly recommend and very worth it!!!
