I come from a fashion photography background and now happily spend my time in the beautifully slow world of weddings. After living abroad for many years, I’ve returned to the States. Travel has always been part of my life, whether for fashion or weddings, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Having worked in the world of fashion, I bring with my eye for detail and candid capturing that also helps each image be near perfection. My work is all about capturing moments that are looked on. Each still has a story to tell, just like in the world of fashion.

Jaffer shot our wedding, and in all honesty I can’t imagine anyone else having done it. Every anniversary, the pictures transport us right back to that day. They’re magnetic, gorgeous, alive: everything you want a memory to be. He has this quiet sixth sense for what actually matters and how to capture it, without ever being intrusive or distracting to friends and family who are just trying to enjoy themselves. During the heavier emotional moments, he was practically invisible, yet he still knew exactly when to spark a bit of energy, whether it was a full crowd or just a small group. I recommend Jaffer without hesitation. He’s a pro, but also just a genuinely fun, easygoing person to have around on a day when you really do not want any extra stress.

From our engagement photos to our wedding day, Jaffer had us feeling at ease and comfortable. Neither of us likes having our picture taken, but it was very comfortable working with him. Both of our families raved about how fun and easy Jaffer was to work with after the big day, and we loved all of our pictures. Genuinely the most easy-going, fun photographer who has interesting shots planned and will guide you to something that is comfortable and representative of you as a couple or family. Jaffer has incredible listening skills and is everything you would want in a wedding photographer. I would definitely work with him again for other photography needs, and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!
