Hanna Walkowaik is a wedding photographer based in Los Angeles, California, frequenting Chicago & NYC, traveling all around the world to capture love. Hanna creates artful and storytelling images of your day using digital and film. Her photos are filled with vibrant colors, candid moments and touches of nostalgia. She mixes editorial and documentary styles to not only give you beautiful portraits and captured memories but artistic images to hang in your home. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography her approach is artistic, purposeful and technically skillful.

I shot my first wedding with my mom years ago and ever since I never looked back. I fell in love with the idea of being able to capture such raw and real emotions. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Photography, I have made it my mission to capture love in all forms and showcase the wedding of your dreams with raw and real emotions.

    10/10 Wedding/ Engagement Photographer We are beyond grateful for how beautifully Hannah captured every single moment of our day. From getting ready, to the ceremony, to those golden sunset shots — every photo feels full of life, emotion, and joy. Hannah has such an incredible gift for capturing the in-between moments that make the day feel so real and personal. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and truly brought out our personalities. I’m in awe of her talent, her calm and organized presence, and her ability to make everything feel effortless. Looking through our gallery, I even got to see all the details I missed that day — like the food and cocktail hour I never got to experience in real time! Working with Hannah from our engagement shoot to the wedding day has been an absolute dream.     While looking for a photographer we wanted to find someone we felt comfortable with, yet pushed us out of our box for the shots we had saved on our mood board. Hanna did just that! After chatting with Hanna for only 15 minutes we knew she was the person who could document our love story through still images. When it came time for our engagement photos we were very indecisive on locations and vibes. Hanna was eager to jump on as many calls as needed to brainstorm ideas with us. We went back and forth for weeks planning and finally, when the day of our engagement photos came Hanna brought all of the good vibes and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She guided us and made sure every detail was perfect to give us the best outcome. We will treasure those photos and memories from that day forever. When our wedding day arrived she worked diligently to make sure we all stayed on schedule, and was constantly one step ahead of us to ensure we got all of our photos we requested on our shot list while still making the morning so much fun with her. Hanna and her team truly did not miss a beat the whole day. I cannot say enough incredible things about Hanna and our experience working with her.     I knew Hanna from when she was in Chicago, and when my partner and I were going to be in LA this year I decided to see if she was available for a pre-anniversary shoot with us. We were SO excited that she was available on a few weeks’ notice, and immediately began planning! Hanna offered such helpful insight regarding different location ideas and logistics with traveling between the spots we knew we wanted. It ended up being such a fun and relaxed session and she created AWESOME images that exceeded our expectations. Hanna’s fun and artistic vibe is exactly what we wanted, and she made our dreams come true. The photos really feel like US and we’ll cherish them forever. Now we just have to decide which ones to print and put all over our home! THANK YOU, Hanna!!!

    Hanna captured our day so perfectly! We can’t stop looking at our sneaks! And more importantly she was just such a positive presence on our wedding day - helping calm any stress and adding so much joy!! My bridesmaids even commented on how much they loved her Our couples portrait sessions felt fun, happy & natural. She was so great at posing us and got SUCH amazing shots. A perfect mix of more classic wedding photos with some whimsical poses and editorial shots. She also made sure we were staying on schedule so that we could just enjoy ourselves and be present. Will be recommending Hanna to everyone & also be using her for our future photoshoots!! Could not be happier!!
