I take a documentary style approach to capture those moments as they happen, so you don’t feel like your day is just a checklist. I step in when needed, like for family formals, but mostly focus on letting you enjoy your day while those candid moments unfold naturally.
Your wedding is unique, so I make sure your photos reflect who you are and what matters most, not just a checklist to be completed. I work closely with you before and during the day to understand your vision, priorities, and personality. This way, your photos become a timeless, heartfelt collection that feels genuine and honest, capturing the spirit of your wedding day for you to relive again and again.

Engagement & Wedding Photos
We used Emie for our engagement and wedding photos. She did an amazing job with organizing photos for our huge family as well as making sure our photos turned out amazing even though it rained on our wedding day. We felt so confident in Emie throughout the entire wedding day as we spent so much time planning together. Would 100% recommend Emie's Photo LLC for any couple!
Emie rocks!!
Emie and her assistant Michael were fantastic! From our first meeting with Emie, she made sure that our wishes were heard and made sure that it was something she could capture. Through the planning process, she reassured us and continuously instilled confidence in us. On the day of our wedding, her and Michael were early and comforting. They did getting ready photos, our first look, bridal party photos, and family photos per our shot list. They were so knowledgable and paid great attention to the lighting and backdrop, having us change angles a few times to account for it. She coached us through poses and, most importantly, what to do with our hands. During the ceremony and reception, they both were able to capture shots that we had no idea they were even in position for! They also brought disposable cameras to the event for our guests to take candids throughout the night and we’re super excited to see how those turn out! Additionally, they were very professional in handling relatives who wanted to take pictures on their own equipment throughout the day. They were so fun to work with, we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Albemarle area!

Emie and Michael did such an amazing job photographing our wedding! Throughout the planning process, Emie made us feel very at ease with her approach to the wedding day. She took time and care to review our timeline and made excellent recommendations based on her experience. She went above and beyond by attending our rehearsal to get a sense for the ceremony and reception spaces. On the day itself, she brought a calm and professional energy to what can feel like a frenetic day. Our family complimented her for having a very well run family portrait session. The photos we’ve seen are amazing and we cannot wait to see the full album. I would recommend Emie highly!
One of the best choices we made for our wedding
Emie did such a wonderful job with our photos! She was a joy to have at our wedding; she did not add any stress to the day, if anything she alleviated some of it. I had total confidence in her ability. She was very attentive to the details and type of photography I wanted. I would recommend her highly to anyone in need of a photographer!
