Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

Hanel and the Duet Photography team were an absolute dream to work with! Our wedding day involved multiple locations and timeline changes, and they handled everything with such grace, flexibility, and professionalism. They made the entire day feel effortless and ensured we never had to worry about a thing. The photos are truly STUNNING — every image perfectly captures the emotion, laughter, and love of the day. The videos are equally incredible, overflowing with joy and so beautifully put together that we can’t stop watching them. I would use and recommend Hanel and Duet Photography a million times over. They exceeded every expectation and gave us memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives!!

From the very beginning, the team truly listened to what I wanted and made sure to understand my vision for the day. Their communication throughout the entire process was excellent — they were always responsive and made me feel heard whenever I had questions or needed clarification. On the wedding day, they showed up fully prepared and ready to capture every moment. The whole experience felt natural and effortless. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and everything flowed so smoothly. The final pictures and videos turned out absolutely amazing — I honestly can’t stop looking at them! They captured all the emotions, details, and special moments so beautifully. I’m beyond happy with how everything came out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional, attentive, and talented photography team!

Our photos/ videos just came back and we are in shock of how amazing they are. Hanel, Mike, and team did an amazing job the day of our wedding and the entire process leading up to it. The e-mail communication and organization was also above and beyond. I even felt like they were so organized on the day of. I never once questioned if they got the right shot or angle. They were able to be flexible with our weather (passing rain shower) and even our rain photos were unbelievable! We picked Duet because a friend had used them and had a great experience, too. I am SO happy we went with Duet!!!!

As we near our one year wedding anniversary, my husband and I revisited our wedding gallery, and “WOW!” Is all we can say. The Duet team was incredibly communicative and professional from the very first touch point, to our wedding day and beyond. Their photojournalistic style is exactly what drew us to them, as we felt the candid shots really allowed the love and joy that was in the room with us that day to shine through! They took all of our preferences into consideration and made sure we had the absolute best experience - we were able to get all of our special photos and videos, while still prioritizing spending the day with all of the people we love, and weren’t pulled for posed photos every few minutes, which was important to us. The entire team was truly on point throughout the day, and captured our special moments perfectly! I was especially impressed that they were able to get so many photos and videos of our guests enjoying the dance floor, while not feeling like they were being followed by a camera all night - they were impressively stealth, and provided such a great experience for us all. I cannot thank Duet enough for perfectly capturing our day, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fabulous photo/video team for their event. THANK YOU DUET!!
