About Beth Joy Photography
Beth and John
Thank you so much for being here! We're Beth & John, the husband and wife team behind Beth Joy Photography! Together, we have fallen in love with the art of photography, and work side-by-side as best friends, meeting amazing people, and telling the beautiful, joyous love stories of so many incredible couples. We are college sweethearts, married since 2014. In our free time, you can usually find us walking hand-in-hand on the beach or at the nearest theme park, spending time with family and friends, or traveling the world. We can't wait to hear from you, learn your love story, and create photo magic together!
After the last song has been played, all you have are the memories of the day. We provide you these memories as heirloom-quality images that tell your genuine story, which you will treasure for a lifetime and share with generations to come. To best serve our couples, we accept no more than 15 events per year, creating a bespoke, customized experience for each one. Our wedding photography collections include both Beth and John as your photographers, full wedding day coverage, one-on-one assistance with timeline planning, and an online gallery of hand-crafted images.

Radiant, heartwarming, and uniquely special
I can't even begin to express how in awe I am of our wedding day photos. Bethany and John have beautifully captured one of me and my husband's core memories. Our photos are light, dreamy, radiant and colorful - candid, posed and fun, at all the best and most flattering angles - everything I was looking for when searching for a photography team. At a personal level, Bethany and John are the most kind hearted souls. We felt so comfortable with them, cared for, and looked out after. For example, we had some family members try to input themselves into what was supposed to be me and my husband's special moments, and John and Bethany politely stepped in and took care of it, with grace and confidence. I so appreciated John for paying close attention to details - he would fix a fly away hair, ask me to sit up a little straighter, or adjust my arm in a more flattering way. The both of them can just so wonderfully read a room and the people in it. I never had to ask them of anything, they can just sense and spot a special moment. Bethany is so organized and her timeline, ideas, and plan were so carefully and thoughtfully played out! For someone who can be quite meticulous and analytical times, I'm as happy as can be and overly satisfied.. We now have the most beautiful engagement session photos and wedding day photos I could have ever asked for. We can't wait for family photos with Bethjoy when we add a little one to our lives! If you want absolutely stunning wedding photos and to work with two of the nicest people on earth, then look no further than Beth Joy Photography. Working with Bethany and John was such a delight from the very moment we had our initial call. We were lucky enough to have our engagement photos taken by Bethany and John and we had such a fun day in Downtown St. Pete. They made us feel so incredibly comfortable and as if we weren't even having our picture taken. Our engagement pictures were stunning and we were so excited to have them photograph our wedding, as well. Throughout our engagement, Bethany kept in touch and made sure we were up to speed with everything. Communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. As the wedding day approached, Bethany worked with our wedding planner to finalize the timeline details and ensured that she had a list of all of our requested shots and family photo combinations. When wedding day arrived, my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing! We were so fortunate to have Bethany, John, and Amy (Bethany's sister) photograph our day. The three of them are truly the most genuine, fun, and caring people you will meet and they were such a joy to work with. Not only that, but they captured the most amazing photographs and we are still FLOORED at how beautiful the pictures are. We have yet to create a photo album because we just may have to include every photo since they are all THAT good. Bethany, John, and Amy truly have an eye for capturing the perfect lighting and colors (our sunset photos were to die for). They made us feel at ease during our couples portraits and managed to sneak some amazing candid shots. We cannot thank Beth Joy Photography enough for the most amazing gift of our beautiful wedding photos. We will treasure them forever!
The BEST Choice!
We found Beth Joy Photography before we actually even picked a venue and wedding date because I knew I wanted her and her husband to take our wedding/engagement photos! So much so that we made sure our wedding venue/date coordinated with their calendar before booking it. I cannot express to you how incredibly lucky we feel to have had our pictures taken by them. Of course the way they softly edit photos while bringing the color and brightness to life won us over initially, but the communication, timely turn around, the way they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, their helpfulness, dependency, organization, and genuine kindness, are just some of the many other reasons we would recommend them to everyone! You truly won't be disappointed and I am sure you will love your pictures and experience with them just as much as we did!
INCREDIBLE!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Beth Joy Photography! First of all, they are the sweetest couple you have ever met. Secondly, they went above and beyond when Beth got pregnant and was due right around our wedding date by securing a backup photographer. She still edited our photos as well. They came out absolutely stunning and were everything I dreamed of! Highly highly recommend :D
