Thank you for being here! My name is Amelie and I am extremely passionate about capturing intimate love stories. I love collaborating with my couples to create unique, meaningful galleries that reflect the most important moments of their days. I would describe my style as candid, emotional, dreamy, fun, and documentary-style.

I take a very collaborative approach to my work, as I believe that creating art for someone should be a shared experience. My photography reflects the style of my couples, and I love to hear about YOUR vision for your day! My day-of approach is very flexible, and I tend to be exactly the person you need at any given moment. For special, quiet moments I tend to hang back and capture memories without taking up attention from the experience. On the other hand, when you need someone to jump in and organize a group photo or you want posing suggestions for newlywed portraits, I've got you!

    Amelie is an absolutely stellar photographer! She is incredibly organized, talented and relaxed which put us at ease allowing our most natural selves to be captured on our wedding day. We met Amelie for an engagement session a few months prior to our wedding. She was warm and comforting, suggesting great backdrops and creative, fun poses that had us laughing and smiling. On the big day, Amelie came with a second photographer and they were precise, collaborative and commanding. When our huge wedding party shot list was going to take far too long, she split up the shots between her and her second shooter allowing us to get the shots done quickly and enjoy more of our cocktail hour. When I mentioned, I loved the look of 35mm film, she included the option in our proposal. Amelie really listens, collaborates and captures wonderful memories. Her editing skills make for beautiful keepsakes and her previews of the our wedding (which we received 48 hours after our ceremony) had all of our family and friends raving about the photos. Amelie is absolutely the best and we cannot wait to hire her for more life events! We cannot recommend her enough.

The preview photos have turned out better than I could have imagined and we’re so excited to get the rest of our images back!     From the minute that Amelie arrived at the venue, she was professional, helpful, creative, and kind. She is incredibly skilled not only at taking beautiful and artistic photographs, but also in managing the dynamics of the wedding event. My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera but taking a walk with Amelie to get some solo shots was organic and effortless. We just received some preview photos, and both her photo composition and editing captured our wedding perfectly. Without being asked, she took on many more roles than just the photographer: timekeeper, dress bustler, calm creator, and creative director. She somehow seemed to be in several places at once and was always an arm distance away when a photo opportunity arrived. She scouted beautiful places for my husband and I to take solo photos, instructed the officiant on where to best stand so our ceremony photos would look good, and remembered every single special shot that we requested prior to the event. Hiring Amelie was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding, and I can’t recommend her enough. We will certainly be recommending her to all our friends and family.
