I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.

I'm beyond blessed to be able to do what I love. Which wouldn't be possible without the unfailing support of my DASHING husband Jordan, & SUPER spunky daughter Marvel. There are many other things that tickle my fancy other than photography. [But let's be honest, photography has my heart] To name a few top faves though: pizza, laughter, wildflowers, the office, playful animals, bonfires, water, uncontrollable smiles, dancing, taco night [maybe I should just say food in general ;)] and people that laugh at my ridiculous humour.

    Alba Lumos Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From their prompt, fun, and clear communication style, we knew we were in good hands from the start. The quality of their work was nothing short of stunning - they captured our day in such a creative and unique way. We were blown away by how fast they got our photos back to us too. April even got into the water to get the most epic shot on the lake, and she and Jordan brought so much energy that all of our guests loved them. We couldn't be happier with the memories they helped us create on our special day.

    Alba Lumos Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the start, they were super communicative, unique and fun, always making us feel at ease and excited about our big day. The quality of their work is truly BEAUTIFUL and CREATIVE - they have an incredible eye for capturing all the special moments in a way that is both timeless and fresh. April even helped me button my dress and was such a fun presence throughout the day. We also loved the "Best Dancer" award at the reception - their energy and enthusiasm was infectious! Overall, we couldn't be happier with the stunning photos that perfectly encapsulate our wedding day.

    April and Jordan were the most helpful people out of all of our vendors throughout the wedding planning process and day of. April and Jordan are extremely talented, professional, and bring the perfect energy. They made my husband an I feel so special, confident, and comfortable!     From the very start, I knew we were going to love April—and I was 1000% right. Choosing her as our wedding photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made. Even before the big day, just chatting with her was like a breath of fresh air—she’s so helpful, thoughtful, and truly a ray of sunshine. Her work also speaks for itself, but what you don’t fully see until you experience it is how she makes you feel while capturing those beautiful moments. As a couple that’s a little clumsy and not always thrilled to be in front of the camera, April brought out so much confidence in us and made the entire experience feel natural and so much fun! Even our family and friends shared so many compliments and felt so happy to be part of it all. When the weather threw us a curveball on the big day, she never skipped a beat— encouraging us to seize the moment and when the skies finally cleared, she captured the most magical sunset photos. It was also such a joy to meet Jordan—together, they make the most wonderful team. Kind, supportive, easygoing, and incredibly talented. You’ll feel completely taken care of with these two by your side. We truly couldn’t sing their praises enough!
