Rev. Elle Sojourner is a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant™, Teacher, and Author. As the owner of Spirit Fire Life Ceremonies, she crafts rituals and ceremonies for regular folks with extraordinary souls. Although she is formally educated and trained, life, love, and experience have been her most profound masterclass. She helps others grow in love through weddings, funerals, and Soul Circles­™. Elle delights in life’s joys, including her son, turtle, and dog. And she keeps her cup full with nature, music, laughter, and dance.

Experiencing a Spirit Fire wedding is a celebration of love. Ceremonies are crafted authentically and holistically without social or religious constraints. This is a full-time celebrant practice which offers white glove customer.

    Elle has incredible energy for this line of work—she's very down to earth, but you can tell she takes the responsibility of leading couples through this momentous occasion seriously. She was such a consummate professional throughout the whole process of preparing for our "micro-wedding!" She helped us clarify our thoughts and distill exactly what we wanted to say into a short and sweet ceremony that struck all the right chords. I'm a writer and editor, so I can be a little nit-picky about language, but Elle's "script" for our ceremony hardly needed any revising. I really appreciate how she took the time to get to know us and our story in the weeks leading up to the ceremony. It was truly a collaborative experience. Highly recommend!

    My husband and I were lucky enough to have our April 2024 wedding officiated by Elle at spirit fire life. As we are an interfaith couple; we wanted someone who would not mind incorporating spiritual beliefs into our ceremony keeping this in mind. We reached out to Elle a couple months ahead of our wedding and she encouraged us to set up a zoom call with her to figure out if she would be the right fit for wedding day. Well, we were so impressed from the start on everything that she brought to our call that we immediately emailed her following our discovery call to book her services. Throughout the process, Elle was kind, collaborative, and extremely professional. She was patient with us getting information to her and provided great resources to help us throughout the wedding planning process that I quite frankly never thought about. She continued to be a guiding light throughout our planning process and suggested we meet to talk through my thoughts regarding our unity ceremony. On our call she so eloquently stated something along the lines of: “sometimes it’s easier to have someone else make a decision for you when you are making so many of them.” As a result, I am positive our unity ceremony was perfectly executed thanks to Elle. She brought this level of poise and professionalism to our wedding ceremony and made our day even more wonderful than I ever could have anticipated! We are so grateful that we were able to have Elle as a member of our wedding day team.

    Our experience with Spirit Fire Life Ceremonies was exceptional. Elle was quick, efficient, kind, and thorough in her communication with us throughout the planning process. Her work was well done, and her services were worth every penny. She worked closely with us to capture our story as a couple and wrote and performed the most beautiful and meaningful wedding ceremony that our guests were moved to tears by. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect officiant to be a part of our special day and are very grateful for how easy she made the process. With all of the struggles of wedding planning, this was not one of them.
