Born in Australia, lived in Scotland, I've now been in the US for 10 years, I presided over my first wedding in 2016. Being asked by two of my oldest friends changed my life forever. But I was crazy nervous. That first ceremony elicited something inside of me I never expected. I LOVED, love! I had a feeling of pride and community I'd never experienced before. More and more friends asked me to officiate their weddings over the years until I finally said "frick it, maybe this is my thing." Becoming an officiant has been one of the most rewarding things I've done, experiencing your marriage ceremony with you is now something I look forward to.

I really get to know my couples with zoom calls leading up to your ceremony, and a custom written ceremony script to perfectly suit your style. Spiritual, religious, casual, funny, super romantic, whatever you're looking for, I can make happen.

    He was attentive, caring, adaptive and responsive throughout the entire prep. He welcomed all the input and suggestions and special quirks my wife and I wanted for our ceremony. On THE day, he came fully prepped, and even went almost knee deep into the Pacific ocean to marry us! Sam’s best traits, however, are his honesty, charisma and how genuine he is in his approach and delivery. These last traits are, in my opinion, what every special ceremony needs! Sam is absolutely the guy you want!
