After being in the beauty industry for over 25 years, and having the opportunity to work with the most talented artist in the industry, my vision was to create a service with these artists, utilizing their talents, and make them available for all women.     Our experience with Makeup Masters was a mixed bag. When things were going well, their communication was prompt and professional, but when mistakes were made, they became defensive and dismissive. The quality of their work was also hit-or-miss - the hair styling was good, but the makeup was only mostly satisfactory, with key details and execution lacking. For example, both artists lacked correct and discussed tools and lashes, and I ended up having to redo parts of the makeup myself. After paying nearly 2,000, the company's response to our concerns was disappointing, offering only a minimal refund and even partly blaming me rather than taking accountability. As small business owners ourselves, we expected more empathy and ownership of mistakes, not excuses. Overall, the makeup experience was stressful and disappointing, though our wedding weekend was still beautiful despite this vendor's shortcomings.
