Kaylyn has been working with brides professionally for over a decade, but her passion for styling began in her small hometown of Sturgis Mi. Now living her best life as a Bridal & High Fashion specialist, Kaylyn graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in 2013, moved to NYC in 2015 and completed her course at NYC Makeup Academy. She Speaclizes in updos and clean looks. Kaylyn loves a challenge, and will go above and beyond to make your dreams come true. Kay Veda Bridal strives to make your special day beyond beautiful, unleashing your inner radiance, and ensuring every moment is picture-perfect.

Kaylyn has worked in many industries including fashion week, indie films, editorial, lifestyle, and fashion photoshoots. Some notable accomplishments are being published on the cover of Artells Magazine and featured in Magnolia Rouge for styling on a bridal shoot. While Kaylyn’s true love will always be Bridal hair and makeup, she also works as a Senior Stylist and color specialist at an Aveda salon on the Upper West side.

Hair That Lasts Longer Than The After Party

Kaylyn was referred to me by my regular hairdresser, so I immediately knew I would be in great hands. I had my trial with Kaylyn in March and felt comfortable with her right away. She is so easy to talk to and just fun to be around. I told her I wanted vintage glam waves, and she gave me great advice on how to grow and prep my hair before the wedding, including using extensions to get that full, classic look. On the wedding day, she absolutely nailed it. My hair was everything I had envisioned, with flawless, seamless extensions and waves that lasted all day. Even after sweating and jumping to our last song of the night, “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada, my hair still looked amazing! Kaylyn also did makeup for my entire bridal party, and everyone looked stunning. It was a summer wedding, and both my hair and the girls’ makeup held up perfectly. She created such a positive, relaxed vibe while we were getting ready, which made the morning so much fun. Plus, she surprised us with the cutest personalized touch-up kits before she left. Truly a 10/10 experience. Kaylyn is talented, kind, and professional, and I cannot recommend her enough!

I had an incredible experience and cannot recommend Kaylyn and Kay Veda Bridal enough! My bridesmaids and I absolutely loved our hair and makeup. From the very beginning, Kaylyn was excellent. She was quick to respond, flexible in scheduling my trial, and on the wedding day she finished everything perfectly on time. She’s very knowledgeable about current trends and came prepared with creative ideas after I shared inspiration photos. She uses top-quality products, is very skilled with both hair and makeup, and even provided each of us with a thoughtful touch-up kit to use throughout the day. Every detail was carefully considered, and the results were amazing. I will definitely use Kaylyn for any future hair and makeup needs!
