No. We don't expect you to know exactly how many people at your time of booking. We understand that number can be different as the date gets closer. At the time of booking the only requirement is to have an estimate of who you are anticipating services for and that it meets our minimum.

We understand that things can change, and we are happy to roll with changes. If you have a party member back out of services, you are welcome to replace that person with someone else.

Yes. In order to provide on-site services to you on your wedding day we do charge a fee for us to travel. The fee is calculated as $25 for every 30 minutes of travel. Example: if the venue is 45 minutes away, 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip the travel fee would be $75. This covers our set up, break down and any tolls that should be on our route to you. **Parking is not included in this charge should it be applicable**

No, I do not require brides to book a trial. I do however recommend it. Booking a trial gives me the opportunity to determine if your inspiration is a practical expectation on the hair you have. It provides the time to acquire extensions or book a smoothing treatment if its recommended. Our makeup artist may also make suggestions at this time for skin prep leading up to the wedding to ensure a smooth and flawless makeup application. A trial also gives you a chance to see in real life what your hair and makeup will look like on you and if it is what you envisioned. We can make adjustments at this time to ensure a smooth service the day of.

We require a signed contract and a deposit in order to book your date. Deposits are equal to the cost of services for the bride the day of the wedding and will go towards the balance the day of.

Yes, We have a minimum of 5 people receiving each service in order to travel to you onsite.

Gretchen is so easy and friendly to work with. Her communication style was chill and relaxed, which really helped put me at ease during the wedding planning process. On the day of, the stylist was hardworking, providing simple yet elegant hair for my bridesmaids. She sat back and let us all get ready, but also offered her own advice and funny stories to keep us entertained. The quality of her work was fantastic, and I felt it was a great value for the price. I would 100% hire Hair to Slay Weddings again in a heartbeat!

I cannot recommend Hair to Slay enough! From the very beginning, they were warm, attentive, and truly listened to my vision for the big day. On my wedding morning, they brought such a calm and positive energy. They absolutely nailed my bridal hair—elegant, romantic, and exactly what I had dreamed of. It held up beautifully through tears, hugs, dancing, and everything in between. Not only did they make me feel like the best version of myself, but they also did an incredible job with my bridal party. Every single one of my girls felt confident and looked stunning. If you want someone who is professional, insanely talented, and just an overall joy to be around, Gretchen is the one. I feel so lucky to have had them as part of such a special moment in my life.

Gretchen was amazing, she was there on time she got everyone’s hair done so quick which was huge since she did the hair of my 10 bridesmaids, my mother in law, my mom and myself! Everyone’s hair looked so great! She is also so bubbly and funny! I will recommend her to everyone!!
