    Maekalah Makeup was absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding! From the very first call, Maekalah's communication style was awesome - she was so responsive, professional, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. On the day of, she truly made me feel like a queen with her incredible skills and attention to detail. The quality of her work was simply stunning, and the value was amazing considering how perfectly she executed my bridal look. I cannot recommend Maekalah enough - she is just awesome and played a huge role in making my wedding day so special!

    I am so glad I booked Mae for my wedding makeup! She is SO talented and super fun to work with. My makeup looked beautiful and lasted all night, even through multiple bouts of happy tears.

    Maekalah was absolutely wonderful. Before the wedding she was quick to respond to messages and provided a detailed breakdown of her costs and her services, which I appreciated. On my wedding day she did a fabulous job for both my bridal look and my bridesmaids and MOB. I liked that she explained everything she was doing along the way and gave me options so that I was involved in the process and not surprised with the final look. I also appreciated her ability to navigate the ferry schedule to get to my wedding location on Peaks Island without any issues. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist in the New England area!

    Seriously the best makeup artist of all time. I am so incredibly happy that Maekalah did our makeup for my June 2025 wedding at Lareau Farm Inn in Vermont. From the trial to the wedding day, she crushed it and somehow made everything even better than the inspo pics I shared. She is truly the best person to spend a wedding morning with. Her funny and sweet commentary kept me calm when it would have been so easy to stress. My trial was SO good that one of my bridesmaids, who wasn’t planning on getting makeup, changed her mind and booked with her. Then on the wedding day, my makeup was obviously fire, so another bridesmaid decided on the spot to get her makeup done too. Maekalah was so flexible and made it all work seamlessly. She made each of us feel gorgeous, confident, and so special. On top of being insanely talented, I feel like we became real friends through the process, which made the experience even more fun. Love, love, LOVE her. Thank you Maekalah, you are truly the best New England makeup artist and I cannot recommend you enough!
