STEM SWAG

Located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, we are a full-service floristry and gift shop with an urban flair. Gary, our owner, wanted to create a floral experience that would make any and all clients feel accommodated no matter their budget. We love bringing people joy through flowers across the valley and believe floral services should be a personable experience. Our team works to deliver elite customer service and groundbreaking designs to everyone who walks through our doors.

    We had Stem Swag selected for us through a venue as our florist. We had zero idea of what to expect but we had a color palette designated for the reception and boy did they deliver! While our aisle runners seemed a little thin for the ceremony, the reception hall was excellently outfitted with brilliant centerpieces and our sweetheart table looked fantastic! Our open bar was also well adorned with lovely flowers that made the space seem a little smaller which is what we wanted. All in all - would use Stem Swag again for floral needs, and they have been recommended to our family getting married in the valley!

    STEM SWAG was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. From the very beginning, they were incredibly thorough in their communication, providing us with detailed vision boards to ensure we were on the same page about the look and feel we wanted to achieve. On the day of the wedding, their work was truly breathtaking - the bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony decor were all beyond beautiful and set the perfect mood for our special day. They delivered and set up everything seamlessly, allowing us to focus on enjoying the moment rather than worrying about the logistics. We couldn't have been happier with STEM SWAG and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

    Unfortunately they did not meet our expectations. To start with the positives: the altar decor was beautiful and created a lovely backdrop for our ceremony. The sweetheart table was also very pretty and photographed nicely. The table centerpieces at the reception were absolutely stunning—elegant, full, and exactly the look I had hoped for. However, there were several important areas that fell short. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were thin, sparse, and lacked the fullness I envisioned. I had requested soft, pretty arrangements of white baby’s breath, but what was delivered looked unfinished. My bridal bouquet was also not what I expected—it was short and compact, rather than the longer, more elegant style we discussed. The boutonnieres were particularly disappointing. They were just a single tiny flower with no baby’s breath or added detail. They looked incomplete and not in line with the overall style, and frankly, they appeared a bit silly given how minimal they were. The aisle floral decor was also underwhelming—skinny, with very little baby’s breath, and it didn’t make the visual impact I had hoped for during the ceremony.

    I had a really tough time working with stem swag, and I really wish we had gone with another florist. My flowers were pretty but they were not what I had asked for and they didn’t match the rest of my wedding. We agreed on a pastel color story and I received neon flowers. The personal florals also didn’t match our reception flowers. I asked to have a second planning meeting about three months before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page and was told that was unnecessary and they could ‘maybe squeeze in a phone call’. Not the kind of experience you want from a wedding vendor.
