Keane’s Wood-Fired Catering was founded by husband and wife team, Padraic and Kaylyn Keane. Padraic grew up working in his parents’ village pub in Galway, Ireland and moved to the United States in 2015 where he became fascinated with traditional southern barbecue. Padraic welded his first wood-fired smoker at the Steel Yard in Providence and Keane’s held their first catered event at Whalers Brewing in South Kingstown in 2016. Since then Keane’s has continued to build a reputation for exceptional food and service.

The Keane’s team proudly provides a unique wood-fired catering experience, offering some of the best barbecue in the region to clients all over Southern New England. We look forward to serving you and your guests!

    Keane's Wood-Fired Catering was a wonderful small business that contributed greatly to making our wedding day special. From the very beginning, their communication was professional yet warm, and they were incredibly easy to work with. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food they provided, as well as the seamless service they delivered throughout our event. The ability to do tastings and get takeout before signing any contract or putting down a deposit really made all the difference in our decision to go with Keane's. The food was absolutely delicious, and their participation in our wedding day was flawless. We highly recommend Keane's Wood-Fired Catering to any couple looking for a top-notch catering experience.

    I don't even know where to begin - our wedding wouldn't have been the AMAZING event it was without Keane's! We will be forever grateful for their hard-working staff, delicious food/bar services, and of course KYM! Kym was my main point of contact from the beginning of my wedding planning - every single thought/question I threw her way, she had a helpful answer that was prompt and kind. We ended up having Kym add on service as a day of coordinator - and my family is still talking about how much of a rockstar she was. All of my guests that I interacted with that day, and now after, have commented on how lovely all of the catering staff was, and how truly great the food was. I am dreaming about the brisket meatballs, bluefish crostini and mac and cheese. I also had a guest who told me the bar staff made the best margarita they have ever had! We seriously cannot thank this team enough, and I just hope that I am lucky enough to go to another event that they are a part of. I wish I had photos to share of the amazing food, but just know that you will not be disappointed! THANK YOU!!!

    Keane's did a wonderful job at our wedding!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond with their interactions with the guests and the services they provided. They were also able to accommodate guests with food allergies. We highly recommend them for any event.

    We would give Keane's 20/5 stars if possible. What sums it up the most is that they are just pros. Kym was amazing with everything leading up to the day, and then the day of - everything was perfect! They just handled everything with such professionalism and kindness. They are all-stars. Besides the logistics, no exaggeration, most of our guests commented first and foremost about how good the food was - more than anything else about the wedding. I can not recommend them enough- they were an integral part of our day and we are so grateful!
