We have been in business as a restaurant since August of 1990, and have been catering events of all sizes for the past 10 years. We are also the only Costa Rican restaurant in Chicagoland and we would be honored to show you how tasty and memorable our food is! Also, we're incredibly budget-friendly :-)
Contemporary Latin American soul food is what best describes our Costa Rican cuisine. Our food is full of flavor, not fillers. We want every aspect of your catering experience to stand out! We are especially attuned to the needs of you and your guests.

Fantastic Food and Service
Justin and his team at Irazu were fantastic to work with since the start of our wedding planning. His communication was phenomenal and he was super flexible with any questions or requests we had along the way. He and his team did a great job working with our venue for the day of as well and our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was at our reception. We were thrilled with the Irazu team and would recommend them to everyone for their wedding catering!
Irazu is AMAZING
We love going out to eat at Irazu, so when it came time to pick a caterer for our wedding Irazu was at the top of our list. After we went in for our tasting we were SOLD! The food is delicious and the price was perfect. Plus the menu was super easy to have options for people at our wedding with dietary restrictions. Throughout the whole planning process Irazu was super clear and prompt with their communications, and asked us questions that ended up helping us finish up our timeline for the day of the wedding. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when, and everything went off without a hitch! Plus some very picky eaters on our guest list (my dad in particular) loved the food!! 10/10 would recommend!
