Kayla's Cakes by Design is a Micro Bakery in Plaquemine, La. Ive been in business for about 8 years now in South Louisiana and I would love to share my love for my craft with you! I do everything from sculpted grooms cakes and bridal cakes, to small birthday cakes and treats.

My unique skills include textured wedding cakes, palette designs, hand painted cakes, Sculpted cake, airbrush designs, and literally so much more. Though I do like to provide beautiful and delicious buttercream designs, i make my fondant in house fresh from marshmallows, so the taste is quite delightful unlike most fondant.

Kayla's Cakes by Design was a dream to work with for our wedding. Their communication was professional and timely, making the ordering and delivery process a breeze even as we were traveling to our venue. We used Kayla’s Cakes by Design for my husbands grooms cake for our June 2024 wedding and we had a great experience! Not only was the cake perfect and exactly what he wanted Kayla was so easy to work with! I was worried about finding a bakery that wouldn’t charge an arm and a leg for delivery and Kayla met those expectations! I hope to be able to use her again because her work is beautiful!!
