When we were booking vendors, I wanted wedding professionals. I wanted people who knew the industry inside and out because we were DIY-ing our wedding and without a planner. When you book someone for your wedding, youre not just booking their service- youre booking their industry knowledge and Magnus has a LOT of knowledge and such a big heart. My example of this is within 4 hours of submitting an initial inquiry, we had an email with a scheduled time to call to chat about his services and our wedding plans to see if they matched. What really got our hearts though was before we agreed to work together, he helped me fine tune the schedule I had in my head for the wedding day. He helped us with our timeline not because he was trying to “sell” us on him, and he didnt say “if we work together I’ll help you with the timeline” which would have been perfect acceptable. He helped me because he cares about weddings and wanted to make sure regardless of who we went with for a DJ that we had a good foundation. After that call, I told Collin I wanted Magnus on our wedding team and we didnt need to even consider anyone else and let me tell you - that was one of the best decisions we made. Throughout the process he gave great ideas based on his experience not only for the party (DO THE 10-15 MINUTE DANCE PARTY!!!) but on other aspects of our wedding as well. You’re not just working with an “oh you got a *DJ* DJ!!”as my friend so excitedly said after the music started, you’re working with a professional big hearted person with years of experience who is here to help you have the best time. Our day was truly the best and Magnus was a huge part of that. Once the music started, our dance floor was packed and stayed packed to the bitter end! I will absolutely recommend him to everyone and we are still hearing about how great the music and vibes were. Pics for vibes *insert stars emoji since zola wont allow emojis*

The Toasted Brew/Magnus was an excellent choice for our wedding entertainment. From the start, he was open, responsive, and thoughtful in his communication, which helped put us at ease during the planning process. On the day of, he demonstrated a keen understanding of how to read the room and keep the energy high. He played music that kept the party going and got everyone out on the dance floor. He kept us on track with the timeline and was friendly, offering helpful suggestions for our reception entrance. The Toasted Brew/Magnus truly contributed to making our wedding day unforgettable. We would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a talented and attentive DJ.

In the course of planning our wedding, one of the biggest challenges was finding a DJ that would be the right fit and provide the services we needed. To our great fortune, we stumbled across The Toasted Brew, and everything started to click into place. From our initial meeting, we knew that we had found the right DJ for our ceremony. Magnus was friendly, accommodating, and professional. Most importantly, he worked closely with us to create the vibe and atmosphere that WE wanted for our wedding, keeping our guests entertained and energized all through the ceremony and reception. If you have any doubts about hiring the same person to be the DJ and photographer for your wedding let us put them to rest right now because Robert rocked it! From our first phone call, you could tell he had a chill vibe and is very knowledgeable about what he’s doing. He helped us construct an efficient timeline that was catered to everything we wanted, and he made sure to ask all the right questions so we were all on the same page. The day of the wedding, Robert was great at switching gears and figuring things out on the fly. For the actual taking of the photos, we trusted the process of his vision and it really paid off! His artistic talent and vision clearly shines through in the photos and we loved that he was direct in telling us how to pose and where. It felt very natural with the perfect amount of structure and direction. As if that wasn’t great enough, Robert totally understood the vibe of our guests and had everybody dancing right to the end of our reception. The music he played was so fun, he took requests and, dealt with our family members perfectly. We had SO many people comment on how great the music/DJ was. We really cannot recommend him enough, having Robert as both the DJ and photographer honestly made our day much easier and we couldn’t be happier with the decision to hire him. He’s very professional but relaxed, fun, and reliable.
